Good weight, easy clean up and slows down fast eaters
Really helped slow down Gypsi from wolfing down her food like a hooves vacuum, keeping her from getting choked! I can just scoop her serving of food into the bowl and it falls into the grooves so she has to root around for it. The bowl is sturdy and has a good weight so it doesn’t scoot around on the floor as she’s eating. I can put the bowl in the top drawer of the dishwasher and wash it easily. This bowl seems to be really high quality and should last a really long time.

These doggy dishes work just as they should!I bought two of them.My dog is a smaller dog of about 11 lbs, and she seems to EAT way too fast!Consequently, she gets air in her air-way, after she eats too fast (and gets the burps)…So my VET suggested buying these type of SLOW FEEDER BOWLS.I found these on AMAZON, and liked them because they are made specifically for smaller dogs.So I bought 2.Well, these bowls do slow my dog down and she has not had the burps since I began using these bowls.Also, in cleaning them, I soak them in hot water, and then disinfect them, and air dry them. (I don’t put them in the dishwasher, but I suppose I could do that —but on the top shelf only though) .

It slows down your vacuum feeder dog! I love how it makes her take time to eat her food. Works perfectly! Cleans up easily.

Great Slow Feeder
I have a small dog that likes to practically inhale all of his food at meal times. I knew it wasn’t good for his health to do that. So luckily this slow feeder is the perfect size for him and has extended his meal time by almost double. The only downer is the non-slick bottom of the bowl doesn’t stop it from moving around, so after a thorough dog lick, it usually has been moved around, but overall a great bowl

Way bigger than you think.
This is probably ok for medium size dogs who use dry food. It was advertised as “small breed” so I bought it for my 3.5lb chihuahua and let me tell you this is HUGE. I bought two, one was listed as “1 cup” and the other “1.5 cups” and both were absurdly large. The 1.5 cup would be appropriate for a great dane and this one for a golden retreiver maybe.. but this is a 6″ diameter bowl. If you feed 2-3 times a day you will be wiping their food on with a paper towel to try to slow down the crazy eaters.
