Price is worth it for peace of mind
I ordered two of these feeders, one for each of my cats, and I LOVE them. One of my cats is a bit of a glutton, she eats all cat food in sight. I was feeding my other cat on top of the fridge because the glutton cat didn’t really get on the counters much, but started to recently. These have been perfect. I feel like the non glutton cat is eating better because the other one isn’t swooping in to steal all the food, and I think it’s helping the glutton cat lose a little weight! I’m a hardcore technology lover so having access to an app has been so nice. The feeders were quick and easy to set up, and the app is very user friendly with its navigation and usage. I appreciate being able to see how much and when my cats are eating, and the low food warning has been a godsend. The other auto feeders I had wouldn’t give any kind of warning when the food was low but these do every time! It’s comforting to know that even if I’m away I can still make sure my cats are being fed and actually eating. The only issue I’ve had is that one cat (the non-glutton) doesn’t like wearing a collar, so he’s been prying this one off recently. I’m going to try a different collar but overall SO happy with this purchase!! And so worth it!!!10 month later update: still love these feeders! I did switch the collar out for the non-glutton cat to something he can’t wriggle out of, still a breakaway style, and put the RFID tag onto it and it has worked great. I had to order a new tag because he chewed it up, but pairing the new tag was a breeze. I greatly appreciate being able to give them small amounts spaced out through the day. Keeps them from waking me up at 6am for breakfast LOL. 10/10, I’ve been recommending to all my friends with cats. 🙂

Makes feeding my kitties very easy
Got this for both my cats since they needed to go on different diets and it’s worked great so far. I do wish the lids closed a bit faster cause my chunky cat can steal sneak in to her sisters and steal a bite but overall they work well and were easy to set up.

I got these after we added a new kitten to the family who wouldn’t stop eating our adults cat food and causing an upset stomach. I love this, it’s easy to set up. The app is easy to use. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the fact that the “automatic” feeder isn’t a when the food is low it’s a set times on the app for dispensing food. This in itself isn’t horrible but my cats are not consistent eaters so some days this causes too much food resulting in a blockage and others I check the bowls and they are nearly empty.Overall, I would purchase again given this and other options on the market. The sensing collars work great and cleaning is easy. Being able to keep the food separated is keeping our cats healthy and fed. I think it’s a good value for the money, but If you’re able to get it on sale I’d say hold out. Haven’t had any issues with it tipping or being wobbly, it’s very sturdy.

Cool Concept, But Missed the Mark
Update, 1.5 months after use:If I could return this device, I would. This has been a massive waste of money. The door is now getting stuck open, the time delay to close the door after the cat walks away does not work, constantly get errors on the door. This device was not properly tested in a real world environment. If you have more than one cat, find another product, this device is just not ideal.Original review:I bought this feeder because I have two cats on different dry food diets. I needed a solution that would allow each cat to access only their designated food. Unfortunately, this feeder falls short.The main issue is with the door mechanism. It doesn’t close if both cats are present—meaning the cat who shouldn’t be eating the food can still sneak in alongside the correct cat. Ideally, the door should only remain open when the authorized cat is eating alone. This is a significant design flaw that could potentially be resolved with a software update.Another problem is the RFID sensor placement. If you have a smaller cat, their tag may hang into the metal tray and block the signal, causing the door to close prematurely. A better design would have included multiple sensor locations to account for tag movement and different cat sizes.The feeder door also doesn’t open fully—it blocks roughly 20% of the tray, forcing the cats to use their paws to reach food. On top of that, the tray is shallow, rectangular, and has tight corners, which makes it hard for the cats to reach food with their mouths. There’s a reason most pet bowls are round and concave: they funnel food toward the center for easier access.Lastly, the motor that controls the door is weak. My cats have already figured out that they can force the door back open if they push hard enough while it’s closing.The software that controls the feeder is effective and easy to use. It allows you to schedule feedings in 1/12-cup increments and supports multiple feeding times throughout the day.

Clean, Percise, Pet Feeder
We have 2 cats and we used to allow them to eat whenever. However, our youngest cat that is <2 yrs old simneese has gained 6lbs. I believe she stress eats and unless we can help her drop this weight, sge is at high risk for diabetes, kidney disease and other health issues. This is why we purchased these cat feeders. With this feeder we control the amount of food that is dispensed six times a day. This feeder will only allow her to eat out of the feeder linked to her collar. She can't access our other cats feeder. We are doing everything to help our kitty become healthy. We also discovered these feeders keep their eating area very clean, which is a definite plus. I was cleaning up cat food multiple times a day, but not any longer. Our simneese cat is slowly losing weight. If you have a cat or dog, I definitely recommend this feeder. I also recommend getting the extended warranty JIC.

No problem with paring the tag with my machine. I just needed to change the loop for the collar to something that won’t fall or come off easily; especially if pet rolls around a lot.

My energetic 2 year old cat got into a situation where his original Petlibro tag came off. I was not able to locate it and ordered this replacement. ( A collar being too loose or too tight for a particular cat is not the manufacturer’s fault, as cats vary in what predicaments they might find themselves.) I am glad mine came off as it was designed to; I was just unable to find it in a reasonable amount of time.The replacement arrived within 2 days and works as intended. Happy cat, happy cat parent.
