I wish I had bought this combs earlier
I love these combs because: they are well built; do a great job and you can change combs depending on the cat’s hair. I have two cats with very different coats, therefore, I have appropriate choices. I also own a furminator but my Boys tolerate the combs better than the furminator. The combs being light weight make them easier to handle when one of the Boys doesn’t want to cooperate. I almost forgot the long handle is easier to handle.

My cat loves to be brushed, but she is picky about the type of brush. She has long hair and gets mats really easily. This set is great to get rid of the excess hair in the undercoat. You do have to experiment with the angle and go slow, starting with a swallow depth. If I try to go straight for the undercoat, it can get stuck or pull (my car had REALLY thick hair). But it few you do a little bit at a time and gradually move deeper, it works well.I pretty much only use the widest space between the tines/bristles. Wish there was an even wider option.Some people said it has no static. It does produce less static than other brushes I’ve used, but it still can produce some. I find cleaning hair off the comb often makes a difference.

Not my favorite
I purchased these for fleas on my golden retriever. They worked ok, but the little metal tines bend very easy and made it more difficult to use. I was able to get fleas off of him, but I feel the process could of been better.

Amazing tool!
Our cat and hound dog love to be groomed with these combs! We have a long haired cat and a hound mix with very thick fur. These combs are great for both!
