Great dog food with no chicken byproducts.
This is a great low-allergen food for our Chiweenie with skin and ear issues. The ingredient list is straightforward.It is hard to find dog food that doesn’t have chicken or chicken byproducts in it. This one doesn’t have any chicken and he seems to digest it well. Plus, our dog likes the taste of it. It’s great!Now that we have gotten all the chicken out of our Chiweenie’s diet, his skin and ear issues have cleared up.We add a little No Scoot to each meal and together, these two products have him pooping like a rock star and no longer itching and biting at himself.

Good for food allergies, sensitive skin, and picky eaters!
After trying many prescription diets and medications for our dog with severe skin allergies and itching as well as some suspected food allergies, this is the only thing that helped her skin that she enjoys eating. She looks forward to and runs to every meal now, and her skin is better than it ever was on a prescription diet. No GI issues ever, the price is appropriate, and the smell is not awful.

This is the ONLY dog food that my 2 year old beagle has been able to tolerate. I adopted him at 4 months old and he had horrible digestive problems from day one. After much trial and error, bloodwork and allergy tests, he has so many allergies that I would never have thought to look. I bought at least 6-7 different brands/types before finding out why he wasn’t tolerating the food. He must have known because he didn’t even want to eat the food. A beagle not wanting to eat? Yes, there’s a problem. Found out that oatmeal and Beef are two of his biggest problems (plus like 10 additional ingredients). The ingredients in this Blue Buffalo Basics Grain-Free Adult Dry Dog Food, Skin & Stomach Care, Limited Ingredient Diet for Dogs, Turkey Recipe is EXACTLY as the name says. The ingredients ARE limited, ALL easy to pronounce and understand what it is, NO filler products and he LOVES the food. It is a little bit on the pricier side regarding size to price ratio but this is the best and only food that I have found for him and I’m incredibly grateful to have found it. If they ever discontinue this food, I’ll have a huge problem. Please do not discontinue this food!! It’s phenomenal quality and he actually loves it. He’s thriving and it makes me so happy.

Better than an air freshener
Our Wheaten has always had a sensitive stomach so we were careful with what food we gave her. As she got older she developed a more annoying problem; some pretty serious flatulence. This dog could clean out a room faster than a bunch of frat boys who spent the night drinking beer, eating pizza and downing breakfast burritos off a hand painted food truck.I asked our vet what we could do short of installing exhaust fans and wearing gas masks in the house and she suggested a change in food. While she didn’t specifically recommend this brand it had the ingredients she said to look for.Long story short – problem solved. The dog still has the occasional, ummm, what’s the nice word I’m looking for here?, but who doesn’t? She also likes the taste and her sensitive stomach seems to be fine with it.
