Perfect puppy clipper
This little clipper worked perfect on my frenchie puppy nails. It was easy to handle, and fit in my hand perfectly. The cutting edge was sharp and precise. This is great for SMALL cats and dogs, or puppies. I would not use it on my bigger dogs, it’s not made for that.

Great Product
Great quality and easy to use.

Quality is great
Worked good. They are very well made, my only complaint is they are too big to cut a couple of my small Chihuahua’s nails. They worked better on my larger (small) dog! (20 lb)!

Sturdy, sharp, easy to use
In my quest to make life more comfortable for my dog Orielle I decided it was high time that I learned how to trim her nails. Orielle HATES riding in the car and she usually pukes. Her nails grow quickly and they need to be trimmed every three weeks. I was always afraid to attempt this myself … fearing that I would cut into the quick and hurt her. I was more than willing to pay the $14 to have the vet do it … but then there was that 30 minute car ride to Fox Chapel. So I put on my brave girl pants and started my research. I watched maybe 50 You Tube videos on how to do it. Then I went shopping at amazon.com and found a pair of dog nail clippers that looked like ones I could handle. I got the Boshel Clippers (with nail file). They were $40 but I got them on sale for $13. A good buy. I chose these because they have a safety stop that reduces the risk of injury to my baby.It took me a few days after they arrived to get the nerve to attempt to use them. I was going to follow one You Tubers advice – this woman said she did just one nail each day. I thought I could handle that. I sat down in the yard and crossed my legs … putting Orielle in the middle. I put her favorite song on the iPad – “So Wake Me Up When It’s All Over” (how appropriate is that?). Many experts advise using treats to keep the dog still. Ori’s fav is popcorn with cinnamon/sugar on it. I kept a bowl of that close by. Turns out I didn’t need it. She sat still and I did all 16 in less than a minute – snip, snip, snip, snip. These clippers are very sturdy and sharp. No dogs (or people) were injured.

For smaller dogs
These nail clippers are ok. I feel like they aren’t really sharp enough. I think these are better for XS or S dog. Not great for my Medium dog. I do like the safety guard so I don’t cut too much at once.

AMAZING CLIPPERS!!!
Our dog is a very energetic. She particularly uses this energy to get out of getting her nails clipped so that we have to ply her with treats to even hope to get one paw done at a time. Then when we’d get her to sit, she would still snatch her paws away when I clipped them unless it was at the very tip of her nail. Even when I wet her nails/paws to reduce any nail brittleness, clipping my dogs’ nails was still an uphill battle. Why say any of this? Because I thought that was just how she was until I used the Boshel nail clippers. First, my hand has been hurting me lately so I thought I was going to have to hold off, but the ease of use when handling the clippers is absolutely awesome. People that struggle with weak hand strength would be able to use it easily. Second and most importantly, she doesn’t recoil and jump every time I clip her nails now. She’s SO much more tranquil which cuts the clipping time in half and I can actually make the cuts I need to the first time. I guess it’s the recoil + the sharpness of the clippers. Third, the clippers also come equipped with a nail file that slides into the end of the clippers. If you have a dog, buy these clippers!

Dog nail clippers – very good and easy to use – I recommend these. Arrived quickly and a nail file if you require inside one of the handles. The dogs were not phased by these being used on their nails either, so that to me is a good purchase!
