I do dog transport for rescues. A lot of the dogs I pick up from shelters come w/o collars, so I wanted ones that were inexpensive (sometimes the collars I buy end up staying with the dog!). These were a very nice quality for the price & definitely ones I’ll be buying again.

It goes off without my dog doing anything. Usually when he’s just sitting in his kennel. It shocked him a lot the first time we put it on him and didn’t give a break. We adjusted the settings and took the shock effect off as it was too strong.

Strong, comfortable collar
Ok, I have to “negative” issues but they may not apply to every use. For very large dog necks they won’t come into play. I have 4 large dogs 65 to 90 pounds. For the two with smaller necks the holes don’t go low enough for me to tighen it down enough. Now it’s not hard to punch extra holes, just saying. The second item is for the same issue, the leather ring that holds the excess may not keep it secure, especially if it’s on a smaller neck. I haven’t seen the dogs display any discomfort from the brass fittings being uncomfortable in cold weather though it feels cold to me. I guess hair matters. Overall, the dogs seem to like these collars much more than some others I have and they hold up to large dogs hitting the end of a leash (chasing a rabbit).

Vu le nombre d’achat que je fais sur Amazon, je ne mets que très rarement d’avis.Mais là j’ai décidé de prendre le temps d’en écrire un, car le produit est vraiment top, et je veux venir en aide aux gens qui comme nous, sont en difficulté face à un chien qui aboie beaucoup , et dont les voisins se plaignent.Nous avons un berger australien qui vit en maison. Étant un chien de berger et donc de garde, il aboie au bord des clôtures dès que quelque chose d’anormal se passe. Après avoir eu de nombreuses plaintes des voisins, nous avons cherché une solution. Plutôt que de la laisser enfermé dans la maison plusieurs heures d’affilée, nous avons opté pour un collier anti aboiement.Mon mari , fan de chat GPT, lui a demandé conseil, et nous a orienté vers un collier qui a de très bons avis sur Amazon, et qui coutait 110€.Le premier ne fonctionnait pas, nous avons échangé contre le meme modèle, qui ne fonctionne pas non plus. Notre chien a beau aboyer plusieurs fois d’affilée, il ne se déclenche pas !!!Ma collègue m’en a donné un, qui ne se déclenche pas non plus !Nous avons ensuite opté pour celui ci, qui au miracle…fonctionne parfaitement, et qui ne coûte que 30€!!Après avoir lu les avis des autres colliers de ce prix, ils se déclenchent dès que le chien éternue, s’ébroue, fait le fou, ou s’il y a beaucoup de bruit autour de lui.Ici ce n’est pas le cas. Notre chien est du genre hyper joueur, et il ne se déclenche pas aux mouvements.Il se déclenche dès le premier aboiement.Nous l’avons mis en mode son et vibreur, avec la sensibilité (et non l’intensité) au maximum (5).L’intensité augmente si le chien continue d’aboyer. Par contre il y a un temps de 30 secondes de sécurité entre chaque stimulation, même en mode son et vibreur.Nous l’avons également testé en ballade, auprès de maison où d’autres chien aboyaient, et leurs aboiements n’ont pas déclenché le collier de notre chien, alors qu’il était à côté.Ce collier est donc vraiment exceptionnel.Il suffit d’une seule stimulation pour faire arrêter immédiatement notre chien, même en condition extrême (livreur devant la porte 😂).Là seule limite , c’est que deux fois il s’est déclenché alors que le chien grognait en s’étirant…Mais c’est de loin le meilleur achat que nous ayons fait de l’année. Notre toutou peut rester dehors, mes voisins ont la paix, et nous ne faisons aucun mal à notre chien avec des stimulations électriques.

Automatic function + sensitivity + variable options do not work. Does not detect my dog’s barking, howling or whining. We followed all set up instructions for both automatic and manual use. The manual only works at one sensitivity level even if you set it to sensitivity level 1 it seems to be using sensitivity level 5 and only 1 variable mode as shock only works in test mode and is quite strong so it seems to be at sensitivity level 5 as well (tried it on myself not dog). Collar is either defective and definitely not as described

directions were pretty clear and the collar fit an average sized Australian Shepard. I originally got this because I wanted to use this as a teaching aid in the backyard with our dog. whenever he’s somewhere familiar he feels he doesn’t need to listen to commands like come or stay and most annoyingly like to bark at our neighbours. I never intended to use the shock portion, but I wanted something that could reach out and get his attention while being off leash to try to encourage some betterI wish I could give this product a better review but our little puppy is a bit of a scaredy cat. As soon as the vibration kicked in he would get into a panic and come running back out of fear. after that it was off to his comfort spots where he would hang out for over an hour before feeling ready to face the unknown buzzing and beeping in the backyard.So we had to stop using this product.overall, no problems with the distance. battery didn’t drain too fast and obviously effective at getting a dog’s attention.
