Vibrant color, easy to put on and made well.
We have a 7 month old puppy who doesn’t like to wear harnesses. Seriously, she has chewed through a couple, she has wiggled out of a couple, she bucks like a wild bronco while we are trying to put one on her! She’s 13 pounds, a miniature schnoodle and won’t be getting much bigger now. So when I saw this one I thought “ok let’s give it a try”!The mesh looks like it is very breathable but I worried about how strong it would be against this little Houdini wanna be! That said I was amazed at how strong the material is. It’s a great quality and I like that it has the Velcro AND a buckle to clasp it tightly.I took it out of the package and braced for a struggle getting her to try it on… but she let me slip her front paws into it and I secured the Velcro and then buckled it. Normally by this time she is squirming and jerking trying to escape me and the any harness. BUT she didn’t do any of that. She walked around, didn’t bite at it, try to escape at all. It seems she is very comfortable in it.The bright orange color makes it easy to see her as she’s running around in our acre fenced lot. It doesn’t impede her movement and she doesn’t seem to mind it at all. It’s lightweight but very durable.I love that it really only has one adjustment. You do the buckle to the proper length and that’s set. The Velcro you just put on everytime so that’s a good fit and then the buckle over it is extra security that it can’t just come off. Then with the great feature of double D rings you hook the leash through both of those for even more added security and escape proofing!It also comes with a very nice bright orange highly visible tough leash that has a hook that’s a good strong quality.I am amazed that this harness under $8 is so well made and works so well for our puppy. Seriously I’ve spent so much on other harnesses that make claims of durability and this harness blows them away! So far she’s not chewed it or escaped. She walks well when the leash is attached to it.I am highly impressed and will probably be ordering another one as a spare for our other car. If you’re looking for a great harness at an amazingly low price point I recommend you give this one a try!

Decent harness and leash set
I ordered this harness and leash set in a size small for my new puppy, who weighs about seven pounds. The description mentions referring to the size chart, but I never saw the size chart in the description or the product images, so I’m not sure where we were supposed to find that. As a result, I just crossed my fingers and hoped the size small would fit.Unfortunately, the small harness is still too big for my puppy, but at least it’s not too small and he’ll be able to grow into it. It’s a step-in harness, so it was fairly easy to put on; because he’s a puppy, he wants to bite everything, but that’s typical and not the fault of the harness.Once he stepped in, there is a velcro that can be used to adjust the fit of the harness, and then there is the plastic buckle that holds the two sides of the harness together securely. I have some mild arthritis in my hands and did find the buckle a little difficult to release, but I suspect that it will become easier with use. I do worry that the velcro may loosen up too much with use and not keep the dog as secure as possible., but the buckle should still hold everything in place so that the dog cannot escape.The harness looks nice, as does the leash, which seems sturdy and secure. But the color is a little different than I expected. The harness is said to be blue, and from the product photos I was expecting it to be more of a baby blue. or sky blue However, in person it looks almost more like a shade of aqua. It’s hard to capture color realistically on screens, so I don’t hold that against the manufacturer.Overall, I think the quality of this harness is good, except for my qualms about how well the velcro adjustment will hold up with use. That is why this is a four start review. Once my puppy grows into this harness, I suspect I will make it a backup harness, just to be on the safe side with the velcro.

Sizing runs large and the build feels too weak for real use
I got this harness and leash set for our beagle puppy and the first thing you notice is the bright orange color. It’s hard to miss, which is great for visibility, even if your dog isn’t actually headed to a construction site. The bigger issue showed up fast. Even though we ordered a small, our 8-pound puppy is swimming in it, so the sizing doesn’t line up with what you’d expect for a product marketed for “small/medium” dogs.The construction also feels light. The stitching isn’t confidence-inspiring, the Velcro isn’t very strong, and I don’t trust it for a dog that pulls on their leash or harness. The concern is that by the time our puppy grows enough to fit this properly, she’ll also be strong enough to tear it or slip free. This feels designed to hit a low price point, not to be a sturdy, long-term harness. For a calm puppy who will quickly outgrow it, it might work, but I’d skip it if your dog tests boundaries at all.

Safety Is No. 1 Priority
I find that this safety harness will be a great asset for evening walks.~This is a brightly colored safety vest with a matching leash.~The vest is a mesh material that is lightly padded with a Velcro closure on the back. There are two D rings to hook the leash to.~Mozart weighs 20 pounds and the large sized vest fits him perfectly. If needed, the Velcro closure on the back can be expanded a couple of inches for a bigger girth dog.~The leash is light reflective on both sides. From what I can tell the vest is also light reflective. I held a flashlight about arm’s length from both and I believe that there will definitely be reflection from headlights if one needs to walk outdoors at night.~The price is a very good price for this safety vest and leash.~I highly recommend this set for anyone who walks their dog and wants to be visible at night.
