Perfect for My New Car and Dog

Universal fit is not a 1 size fits all
It’s worth every bit of $13 and not a penny more. I’ve owned more basic seat covers than this and they fell apart within 2 months. This is the next step up. I’m using this for the Summer bc I swim a lot and wanted something to protect my car seat. I like that the top buckles around the head rest. I don’t love that the material makes me sweat to death. (Just something to note!) The cover itself is made for a universal fit which means it’s over sized on my make and model car. Because of that, it shifts every time I slide in and out and it causes bunching which leads me to have to lift my butt and readjust the cover. It’s a pain but it’s also better than my last seat cover. If you’re looking for something more secure and high quality, I’d recommend spending the extra money and upgrading but if you just need a simple solution, this is a fabulous option. Honestly, I’m pleased.

Missing front strap
Seems well made, but only has straps to attach it to the back of the seat. There is no strap to attach the front, which makes it a challenge when driving with a dog who moves around and pulls the front part up over the car seat. I ended up sewing my own to keep it in place.

Too slippery for safety of dog and driving
I got this for my Tri-pawd dog mainly because it claimed to be slip resistant. It was easy to install and fit on the seat. However, it was so slippery that my dog almost hurt himself getting in the vehicle. He fell right out of the car, and that has never happened on a bare seat or a blanket. The entire ride he was sliding around. I drive a stick and had to hold him in place. It was not safe. He is a large bully-mix. I imagine even if your dog has all four paws- the slippery fabric wil be an issue. I will definitely need to return this. A blanket works better is you need slip resistance.
