Good starter set, best for smaller dogs
I got this agility set for my small grandpup, and it’s been fun! He loves the jumps and weave poles, and it gives myu son a fun new way to play in the backyard. Setup was decently easy, and for the price it’s a good value. The pieces aren’t super heavy-duty, so I’d say it’s best for smaller dogs. It’s not professional-grade, but good for casual training and backyard fun. Just check the box when it arrives to make sure all the parts are there.Overall, my son is happy with it — my grandpup gets exercise, he gets to bond with him.

    Not sturdy! Poor quality.
The weave poles are the worst, couple broke the first time we used them. The tunnel is fine. Loop is not sturdy.

Everything and more for dog, child, and parent!
WOW, That’s a lotta pieces! But that’s a good thing because, if you have a child, assembling and disassembling these components adds an unexpected benefit. Without hesitation, CharlieP says, if you have the space to utilize this kit properly, GET THIS. If your space is either shared or mostly concrete and gravel, then get this only if you don’t mind putting it up and down with each session, or you have cheap labor (the child). If you have a grassy yard upon which to set this up and anchor it down securely, then absolutely get this because you can pull it up if you move. For all this kit includes, it is an incredible value. The pieces are all very strong, the sandbag idea is quite clever, and with no toxic fumes gassing from the product, it can be used indoors. CharlieP has spoken.

    Nice Set, Smaller Dogs
Dog Agility Course – $89.99It’s portable. It all folds down into a little pancake case. The hurdles are adjustable. The set is definitely for smaller or medium dogs. I don’t think it would be large enough for a husky or anything like that. This was my first experience with dog agility at all. It seemed pretty self-explanatory. The kids also think that this is for them. Maybe I can train them, too.

    Great enrichment
It is a great way to exercise my 14 month old pup. Also a great way to offer enrichment and to try and tire out my pup, whose energy is endless. Our favorite is the tunnel. We just started using the included sand bag weights on it as when he’s crawling through. It’ll start rolling or scrunching up and not allowing him to completely get in and out anymore.

Not Enough Parts to Set Up All Obstacles
I admit, I tried to set up this agility set without reading the directions. The tunnel was easy. We had some fun going through that before I even continued on.Next, I set up the weave poles and I was a little disappointed that they only came up to my hip. I have a large dog and he’s more likely to want to jump over them than go between them considering it is his worst obstacle. It’s the one we really need the most practice with.Next, I moved on to the hoop. I thought it was pretty straightforward but had to go back and check the directions before I realized that I’m supposed to use a long pole and a short pole for the height. I corrected my mistake and moved on to set up the jump. It was at this point that I realized something was wrong because I did not have enough long poles. I know you’re supposed to do it in the beginning but this is when I chose to count all the parts. You are supposed to have 21 long poles and I only had 18. I did have the correct number of short poles though and something still wasn’t right.I sat down with the directions and counted how many short poles one would need to set up the entire kit. You need eight short poles for the hoop and eight short poles for the jump. The weave poles require 12 of the short poles. 12 + 8 + 8 = 28, but the kit only comes packaged with 24 poles. You could make it work if you took some of the stability poles off of the weave poles. Still, I would think they would have sprung for the extra four poles so that you could set up the entire course at once.Since I was legitimately missing three of the long poles, I opted not to set up the square starting mark and we had some fun in the front yard today considering it’s been the first nice day in a while it was nice that this set showed up today. For the price, I think it is a decent set, especially if you get one that actually has all of the long poles. I know I have paid more than half of the price of this set for just a tunnel like the one that comes with this set.I wish the weave poles were taller, I wish it came with all the poles it was supposed to come with, and I wish it came with enough poles (even when it is shipped with the correct amount) to set up the entire course in a stable way.On the plus side, I did manage to tire my pup out as you can see in the picture.

    Very nice agility set!
I got this dog agility set for my border collie mix. His favorite part is the tunnel! He picked up on it fairly quickly. The jump hoop was easy to assemble and the tunnel comes with a storage bag.
