Great feeder!!
Great product. It works really well, my cat gets her food reliably, and I’ve had no problems with it. It’s easy to set the feedings for time and amount. My cat now knows the sound and comes running when it’s time to eat. It has saved me from forgetting or running out of time to feed her when I’m trying to get out the door. Also great for short trips away, one less thing for the cat sitter to deal with.

Reliable for out of town stays and daily feeding
I’ve tried several different automatic feeders, and I like this one the best. It’s reasonably priced, stops little paws from accessing food when they’re not supposed to, and doesn’t require internet access or an app to use. The programming wasn’t too difficult to figure out, either, and I managed it in less than half an hour (start to finish). There’s so many settings to play around with and find the best schedule/amounts of food for your cat, which is incredible when you’re managing four goblins with wildly different eating preferences and times. I plug it directly into the wall, so I can’t judge battery efficiency, but I do like that the option is there. Additionally, the food tray was easy to remove and clean without coming off accidentally. Would absolutely purchase again in the future!

Very high quality, easy to set up.
Works very well. Our cat likes it better than her regular bowl. Easy to set up check the portions before you leave for a few days we had it set for to large of a setting. The bowl we full after three days. Adjust the amount it’s now great. We just leave it on all this time now.

Reliable and Convenient Feeder with a Few Minor Flaws
I’ve been using the IMIPAW Automatic Cat Feeder for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s been a great addition to my pet care routine. The setup was quick and straightforward—even if you’re not tech-savvy, programming the feeding schedule is intuitive. I appreciate the option to schedule up to 4 meals a day and adjust the portion sizes, which helps keep my cat’s eating habits consistent. The 3L storage is more than enough for several days of food, and the stainless steel bowl is a nice touch—it’s easy to clean and feels more hygienic than plastic. The dual power system (USB and battery backup) gives me peace of mind in case of power outages. That said, I do have a couple of gripes. I wish it allowed for more than four feedings a day, especially since I have a grazer rather than a meal-eater. Also, my curious cat has figured out how to nudge the feeder trying to get extra food—thankfully, the design prevents most spills, but it’s something to keep an eye on.Despite those small issues, the feeder has worked reliably and consistently. It’s a great value for the price and makes my life a lot easier, especially when I’m away for the day or sleeping in.

Great feeder, great choice
Easy to program. Works as expected. Quiet enough not to disturb family but loud enough to get kitty running. Keeps kitty on healthy diet with sizable portions at consistent times of the day. Holds much more food than our last auto feeder but not any bigger.

Good Choice
Working great and my cat loves her timed feedings. She now knows when breakfast is served. Lol. This helps a lot when I’m away or unable to feed her. Nice price as well

Works great on battery offgrid life, but dogs can open lids
I would’ve given this 4 starts if the lid wasn’t so easy for my dogs to open. They should have more rings in the cap to twist on to keep it locked. My two dogs aren’t even the brightest, but they easily get the lids off to easily gobble down their food or let rodents get the rest. And no, they are not hungry. They’re just dogs and try to eat everything. I feed them more than their vet recommends just in case (not overweight though). Also, the bowls detatches waaaaay too easily. But, it is nice if you want to put a different bowl under, which I’ll probably end up doing bc when my dogs eat it spills over bc it’s small and shallow. This unit was made for small dogs and cats. So, i didn’t subtract any points for this. Though I wish they did have a larger version. (I got the largest they offer).I use duck tape to keep the lid on and we will build some type of box or strap to keep the lid on once they figure out they can chew off the tape. I also strap them to the wall so that my dogs can’t knock them over, which they’ve done. obviously the food doesn’t come out when it’s titled or fully knocked over. But, I do like these feeders because they are good for my offgrid property. I have to be careful about what I connect to my small solar system so it doesn’t get overwhelmed. So, I opted to use rechargeable D cell (or whatever the big cylinder ones are that you use for these feeders) batteries to power these feeders. The power lasts a long time on these batteries. It’s been a month and theyre not even halfway out of power. I brought 6 rechargeable batteries for each feeder. So, when the current ones get close to being dead, I’ll swap them and recharge them so that I can continue swapping them out. I expect the batteries to last 2-3 months based on how well they’re doing now after one month.I keep these feeders inside a little shed to prevent them from getting wet (but a diy waterproof box should work fine as well). Note, where I live it does reach freezing temps of about 25-35 at night. But no snow so idk how it operates if it gets too extreme and it is not protected in shelter.I have two feeders for each dog. That’s simply because I do not want to have to constantly fill them up. I get about 1 week for my 40-50 lb dogs. So, I have both set on the highest feeding amount of 20, and then 5 because the highest amount isn’t exactly the right amount to fill my dog. (We are using dog chow right now and sometimes it seems to clog with the large bits, so we are going to try crushing them a little before we switch brands. For now we just give it a gentle shake and it resumes).ExampleBreakfast (feeder 1)6:30am set to 206:32am set to 5(25 is the amount of food my dog needs)Lunch (feeder 1)12:00 set to 10(My dog doesn’t need this extra, but I just give it to him bc I hoped he would be overly full and would stop opening trying to open it)Dinner (feeder 2)5:30pm set to 205:32pm set to 5So, overall I like these feeders. I’m considering using them for my chickens as well bc it helped with the rodents in my dog area. We still get some, but not as many. The food also stays fresh. The gravity fed automatic feeders were cutting it and the food went to the wild rodents and there were droppings in the food. Disgusting. So, I like these feeders bc at least there’s none in the food. They pretty much just get what my dogs drop and can’t reach. I will see if I can left the feeders and put a larger wider bowl under to prevent food from falling and hopefully help. The company just needs to work on better lids because what’s the point if all the food gets in in a single setting?

Works very well cats love it. Easy to use and very durable – our cats have knocked it off the shelf a few times, lid only came off once and the machine still works perfectly. Highly recommend

This product has been working consistently for a few months. I am using it plugged in (with battery backup). It also worked consistently with the battery (no issues with short-changing the cats on food). I think it uses a proper mechanical dispensing system, not one that relies on a rubber band, so dispensing seems to be quick and consistent. In the digital age, it would be lovely if there was a low level warning. The only think I don’t really like is the very loud beep with every push of the buttons to adjust clock, time, meal sizes, etc. Otherwise it is easy to use. The instructions that came with it were helpful. The best benefits: the cats don’t wake me up early anymore (unless I let it run out of food). I am using one feeder for three cats. It holds food for more than one week but I now make a habit of filling it weekly. When I am on holidays, this gives my cat sitter more flexibility on when she comes to check on the cats.Side note on battery only: years ago I used an automatic cat feeder that ONLY had a battery option and found it ran perfectly for months at a time before needing to change batteries, so I expect the same for this one.

Super purchase for the price! My cat was very sus of it in the beginning and now he treats it like it’s his mother! Very efficient that it runs on battery as well as cord! I use the battery for it and it has been working great. It is very sturdy and safe. U can set up upto 5 meals and 3 servings per meal. Initially setup takes a bit of playing around but the instruction card is very helpful! Very happy with the purchase.

Item came defective and I’m not able to return it. I set the feeding times and no food is dispensed. I’ve unplugged it, still doesn’t work. The manual button also wasn’t working. After unplugging it multiple times, the manual button will keep dispensing food until I have to shut it off. I wouldn’t have left a review at all, except I don’t think I should have to keep a defective product.

I was a little worried about the shape of my cats food. I thought it would get stuck as some of it is little x shapes. We’ve used it for a week now and its been great. Setting it up is super easy too. Would definitely recommend this feeder
