My labs love Kong Knots and Kong Tugger Knots.
My 2 young labs love the Kong Knots, which I have reviewed. This is a very similar product, just with the addition of rope loops. They enjoy the Kong Knot toys for playing tug, for chasing among each other, for fetching, for snuggling, for licking. I do not allow them to sit and just gnaw on it to the point of destruction. There are other toys, chews, and activities for that purpose. That being said, the Kong Knot toys have held up perfectly despite being played with very VERY hard.The feel of the toy is interesting. The internal body is a rope knot. The shell is soft plush. The squeaker is subtle..I like that the rope loops are sturdy, and are one solid unit– not just sewn on. My two labs have used it for tug, but usually I am using it for a game of fetch. In terms of size, for comparison, the overall length is longer on the med/large KONG Tugger Knots 21″ length vs 17′ length on Kong Knots (same toy but without rope tug loops). That may make a difference for you when selecting one of the Knot toys.Even though I have large dogs, I may try the small version as they seem to like the small in the Kong Knots over the same in Med/Large.I really have no complaints about this product. The dogs play with it, it holds up to rough play, and since I don’t allow them to gnaw for destruction, it is a toy that should last a long while.

First let me say that I have loved all of the Kong items I have previously purchased. They have always been high quality and durable. I’m keenly aware that I have an aggressive chewer. This is why I always get the reinforced stuffed toys like the ones with the chew guard, etc. This toy I thought would be as durable as the other kong toys. It was not. My dogs has the face torn off within minutes and there was stuffing all over the floor. That’s not why I am writing this though. My concern is with the type of stuffing. This was more of a cotton and thread type blend. The polyester type stuffings my dogs usually enjoy ripping open and just leave the stuffing lying there. This stuffing seemed to draw them in and made them want to eat it. Given that it was thread like, I had to cut the entire animal part off and just salvage the rope portion for them to continue playing. As a pet parent, it’s important to always check on dogs when they have squeaky and stuffed toys torn apart. I am glad I was there to help when they started coughing on these threads and stuffing. Just a note of caution as my dogs are my babies:)

Fun Tugger
Well the frog didn’t last all that long, but at least when he died there was no fluff to clean up. The rope part is still going strong and looks to be in great shape to last a very long time. It has held up well with a medium sized dog who can tug like no one’s business with my father at the other end of the rope.

I have to tell you…..I just ordered my second of these great and VERY tough toys for my 3 year old aggressive chewing, toy destroying Labrador Retriever who EATS what she chews off of her toys. I cannot tell you how much we’ve spent on so called TOUGH toys over her lifetime, then thrown in the trash. She not only loves this on her own but plays tug of war with me and puts every one of her 95 lbs. into her game. She has frayed a few threads but the plush fabric has not started coming apart and, believe me, she has been happily chomping on it as long as I’ll let her.This is the longest lasting fabric toy she’s had and I could not be more pleased. We’re going on a whole week which is a record for her. I will buy more of these, for sure!

Great sturdy toy, the rope thru the toy works well for large dogs like mine, still fluff in the middle but lasts a lot longer than any other squeaker

Cute toy with a squeaker for extra fun. The design of the knots have held up really well during tug of war contests with my dog. He pulls pretty hard too being 55 pounds. I wouldn’t leave this toy out for him to play with alone because it probably couldn’t hold up to being chewed on like most rope and fabric toys can’t. This will be kept out of reach until used as a special playtime toy which will most likely increase the lifetime of it for a lot longer.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Belohnung für unseren Hund in Spielzeugform und haben uns für den Frosch von Kong entschieden.Viel erwartet haben wir anfangs nicht, da unser Hund sämtliches Spielzeug (bis auf sehr wenige Ausnahmen) kaputt bekommt, wollten es aber dennoch ausprobieren. Trotz dranhängen und extrem starken Zergelns, ist der Frosch immernoch heile, lediglich der Squeeker hat etwas gelitten, was ich persönlich aber nicht schlimm finde. Mit den zwei Griffen lässt sich das Spielzeug super halten, während der Hund am Frosch “hängt”.Wir haben uns den Frosch auch noch ein zweites Mal in einer anderen Größe gekauft: den Kleinen für unterwegs, den Großen fürs Training.Uns und unserem Hund gefällt es, deswegen 5 Sterne.

Der Frosch hat nicht so viel aushalten wie der Elch. Hab einen starken Kauer jedoch hat es lange gehalten! Ich dachte das es komplett aus Tau besteht jedoch ist der Kopf mit Watte gestopft

My dog loves most toys, so it’s not hard to please him. He loves to tug. He probably wishes it was a bit easier to find and squeak the squeaker, but I don’t mind because it gives my ears a rest from his other noisy toys. 🙂 It appears to be well made and should last him a long time.
