Wonderful thick, corded leash – works well and has tons of hooks and loops
This heavy duty dog leash is thick, full of little clips and metals along the entire lead for accurate adjustments. I do find there are a few sections which I do not fully understand yet, such as the part which goes directly around your pets neck, as it has a black rubber stopper, but then also has a heavy-duty metal clip. I believe you can add a dog tag to this little loop since I didn’t find another purpose for it. The black rubber stopper is strong, and really difficult to move. This should be great for the pickiest, squirmiest of pets who try to pull their head out of the leash. My dog is tiny, a Pomeranian that weighs about 10 pounds and is more hair than anything else – she can easily get herself out of most leashes and this one is no exception. My Pomeranian does, however, always follow me like a shadow so I don’t normally worry too much about this, but you may want to explore all the metal clips and loops to ensure a non-adjustable fit once you place it around your dogs neck. The length is great, but I like to place it around my body and found it slightly shorter than I expected in this scenario. It still works for me since my dog is super tiny though. There is also a shoulder style pad to make things more comfortable while in use. Overall, this is a quality leash. My dog is not one to chew, but it’s shaped round like a rope style so I would imagine it’s difficult to chew out of it as well. Really cute colors and style – and my favorite part is that I can go hands-free by wearing it instead of having to hold it in my hand.

I love the adjustability and some of the features are excellent
I have large, hairy, double coated collies. We don’t wear collars in the house because it would cause matting. Also collies are one of the breeds that have a larger neck than head, so they need leashes and collars that won’t slide right off if they were to back up. If they wear a collar, it has to be a martingale, but slip leads are easier and faster to deal with. This Lukovee slip lead is good for a few reasons and yet it has a few drawbacks. I’ll explain. I love how I can adjust the length of the lead from 4 to 6 feet and I have found I can adjust it reasonably well on the dog, but it’s not fast, so I pick a comfortable length and go with that. Shorter lengths are great for crowded areas or more control, while longer leads allow the dogs to sniff and explore a bit more when taking enjoyable walks. The handle is adjustable as well, so I like to make it a little larger so I can hook it on my arm at my elbow to respond to a text or leave my hands free to pick up waste. Another nice thing is that I can easily clip their ID and rabies tag to the leash in two places, either near their neck or further up the lead at the other adjustment point. The lead has a “stop” buckle so the slip portion doesn’t keep getting tighter around their necks. We have never had that before, so my guys don’t pull, but it’s a nice backup safety feature. The color, thickness, and material of the lead is pretty nice. It’s a synthetic rope about 1/2” thick with a reflective thread running through it. I’m used to cotton and leather, so this is a slight downgrade for me because the rope material is softer, lighter, and stretchier but bulkier and spongier. It’s not bad by any means but I’m partial to the weight, perceived toughness, and feel of cotton. Also there is a swivel in the middle that I think would make more sense on a leash for tiny dogs. My 80 pound dogs are not spinning on the leash, so the swivel feels like a feature that was just added on in order to add on a feature. It serves little purpose for me but to introduce a point where their fur could get caught, plus it splits the rope, which is another point that could fail, though I have not had problems with it so far. The foam handle is a comfortable touch but I’m not sure how long it will last in practical use because it’s not reinforced, so it may eventually tear. I’ve used this leash on several walks and it’s good, but it’s not my favorite despite the added features that my others don’t have.

First leash that’s ever worked on the Bug.
This is Frito. Frito is a pug/boxer mix (affectionately known as the Bug) and all neck. I can’t walk him because he slips out of harnesses, collars, etc. He doesn’t go for walks well because of this. Yes, I’ve tried several different styles and somehow, this furry Houdini has gotten out of all of them. This leash has changed that. He can’t wiggle out of it and actually has realized walks aren’t bad things. I’ve never used a leash I can use hands free but honestly, it’s my least favorite feature just because I don’t feel I have as much control over him as with a regular leash but overall…I am thrilled I finally found a leash the Bug can’t get out of. I would share a picture of him on a walk…but he wouldn’t stay still enough to get a picture of him in it. But here’s what he looks like because I know you want to see what a Bug looks like. If you have a dog with a similar no neck…this leash is great.

Wonderful reflective slip lead rope
This is a wonderful, thick dog leash that is very comfortable to grab and go. We were in a hurry this morning heading to the farm store, and my son could not find our dog’s usual chain collar to prevent her from pulling. We decided to give this slip lead a try in a public place, and it worked out great. As we walked around the store, our dog did not pull at all, and the slip lead was easy to use.I really appreciate the adjustable leather stopper, which makes it easy to fit comfortably around your dog’s neck. The rope itself does not tangle like most rope leashes, which is a big plus. It feels very durable, and the padded foam handle is comfortable to hold, even for longer walks.I am also looking forward to trying it hands free around my waist once the weather warms up. The reflective rope will be great for our daily walks. Overall, this is a high quality, sturdy leash that’s both practical and comfortable. I am very happy with it!

Good Leash
It’s a bit more expensive than similar leashes / leads, but it’s well-made and the customer service is top-notch (and very friendly).
