Quality Made
This grooming rake works really well and does exactly what it’s supposed to. It pulls out loose fur easily without irritating my pet’s skin, and the teeth feel sturdy and well-made. One thing I really like is the handle. It’s comfortable to grip, doesn’t slip, and makes longer grooming sessions much easier on the hand. Overall, great quality and definitely worth it.

Works great! I almost bought one at a local pet store for $50 but my friend encouraged me to look on Amazon. Im glad she did! This thing is amazing! Great quality, good grip, easy to use, and our dog loves it!

Love them.
These work great. We have a dog that is skidish, some knuckle head shot him. Bear tolerates both the gloves and the comb. The both do an excellent job removing hair. They are gentle on him.

Removes undercoat well
This does work great to get the fur off my German shepherd. However, it still seems to hurt her. That is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star. I followed the instructions and watched a video, but it still bothers her. The quality is great and very sturdy. Nice handle to hold. Her coat doesn’t get tangled it is just the undercoat we need to remove a few times a year.

Good rake
This brush seems to work well. I have used it once on our Husky German Shepherd mix and it removed a big pile of her fur. Seems to work a lot better than the Furminator. That brush works well, but it pulls a lot more and sounds like it is cutting the fur more than pulling out loose fur. It is a lot sharper too and I think it irritates the skin more than this rake does.

I was hesitant at first, but it works great!! Better than the 6 other brushes I have.
Excellent. My dog loves it. I had seen these brush/combs in the past and considered them too harsh. Out of desperation to get my border collie’s undercoat brushed I decided to try this unique tool. It works great and my very sensitive dog seems to love it. I use short strokes and hold the skin from pulling. Great masses of fur came loose and filled a plastic grocery bag. This is from a dog that I brush almost daily. The fur balls on the floor have been reduced. I also use the gloves to do a final sweep over his entire body. He loves it and the fur peels from the brush and gloves easily.

It’s snowing Floof!
The Maxpower Planet Dog Rake/Brush is hands down the best floof remover I’ve ever used. Simple yet incredibly effective, it pulls out huge amounts of fur with almost no effort. I first spotted it in a YouTube reel on a German Shepherd page and immediately thought, “What in the world is that thing?” After zooming in on a screenshot, I caught the name on the brush—and the very next day I had one in my hands for under $10. Now, every time I use it, my backyard looks like it’s snowing fur. Even better, my Shepenois doesn’t seem to mind getting brushed with it, which makes the whole process effortless for both of us.

Don’t get the slicker brush unless you have a thick coated pet.
I got these brushes to manage my American shorthairs matting. I didn’t know she was supposed to be brushed daily and the shed hairs got tangled and matted in her coat. This tool worked really well. It took a little time to understand the right angle of attack. She didn’t like it initially, but now she’s realized it makes her feel better after, so she’s been tolerating a lot more than before. She even purrs the whole time. The slicker brush I got just in case it worked for her. She runs when she sees it now, reserve it for heavy coated dogs only. Husky, shiba inu, shitzu etc. If your dog has more than an inch of fur, you need the slicker brush. Cats and short furred friends probably don’t need it. I’ll use it for wool roving instead. They’re both very good quality. I don’t regret getting this at all.
