My dog absolutely loves this puzzle feeder!
My dog absolutely loves this puzzle feeder! This came extremely well-packaged and worked perfectly right out of the box. My dog took to it right away and it’s been amazing for both his anxiety and eating speed. He now spends around 15 minutes finishing his meal, and afterward, he actually rests and relaxes, which never used to happen before! It’s fun to watch him figure it out — you can really tell he’s using his brain and enjoying the process. The center spinner sometimes gets stuck, but I think that’s just because a few of his kibble pieces are a little too plump. It’s easy to fix if I’m sitting nearby, and honestly, it’s part of the fun watching him learn and adapt. The toy feels sturdy, easy to clean, and is definitely worth the price. I’d absolutely buy this again — it’s helped my pup slow down, calm down, and stay entertained all in one.

Excellent quality;fun for my dog; excellent customer service
My dog LOVES this puzzle feeder! I have a beagle for whom food is one of the things she craves most! She also needs lots of mental stimulation. This puzzle is great! It took her a couple of times using it to figure out that she has to tap the top with her paws to get the kibble out to outer rings and then flip open the little containers on the outer ring with her nose to get to the kibble. She still takes a while to eat from it, which is really good as if I just give her a bowl of food, she eats so fast that she just throws up! This slows down the eating considerably and solves THAT problem! She spends a couple of minutes after all the kibble is gone tapping it and checking to make sure she got ALL the kibble out! This product is very sturdy (my dog is kind of rough with stuff like this) and the suction tabs they send with this really do work on my kitchen floor. I used it at first without the suction cups, but my dog just batted this all over the kitchen. With the suction cups, it stays in place no matter how hard she bats at it. Besides the suction cups, they also include an extra little cover in case the dog manages to tear one of the covers to the little outer ring cups off. I just rinse this with hot water with my kitchen faucet on the sprayer selection. If there are areas that need a little dish soap, I just put that on them and spray with hot water to rinse. I had a question about something that came with my puzzle, so I contacted the seller by email and received a reply the same day. Not only was the reply prompt, it was not a “canned” reply-clearly a PERSON actually READ my email and responded with a direct answer to my question! If you have a dog that needs a little stimulation while inside during the winter or on a rainy day, or a dog that needs to slow down their eating (or both), I highly recommend this puzzle feeder! You could also put small treats in this instead of kibble if you prefer.

Fun game for dog, poor suction control
4/5 because my dog figured out how to lift and throw it to relase the kibbles that exited the center. I wish the suction cups actually worked, but it doesn’t. Other than that, it does make my dog work for his meals since the slow feeder bowls weren’t doing the trick anymore. Good design! Probably even better for more gentle dogs.

Perfect Upgrade For My Maze-Feeder Expert
What a fantastic product for my Bouvier, Shaggy. We started with one of those circular slow-feeder bowls with the maze design. It helped for a bit, but he quickly figured it out and was still finishing his meals in about 30 seconds, and then getting sick from eating so fast. This puzzle feeder has been a game changer. He took to it right away. He didn’t need much training since he already uses those “push to talk” dog buttons; it was mostly just showing him how to use his nose to lift the flaps. Now he eats at a much healthier pace: about 30 minutes for his meal the first day, and already down to around 15 minutes by day two. Best of all, no more getting sick. 😃The product itself feels very sturdy. The flaps do not come off, even if you try, which I appreciate. The clear container is a smart design choice too. I’m pretty sure seeing the food inside is what motivates him to press the button consistently. If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve how well it stays in place, but there’s only so much you can do. The suction cups work reasonably well on a hard floor, but a determined dog can still move it around a bit. In our case, most of the movement comes from him trying to get his nose under the flaps just right, and it’s not enough to be a real problem. The colors are bright, the noise level is very reasonable (no louder than his old slow-feeder bowl), and I love that it’s fully mechanical, no batteries required.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this puzzle feeder and would absolutely recommend it. Thank you for providing me a solution to a problem that has a great value for its cost.

Our boy Kilo!
Kilo is 3 months old and it only took 5 minutes for him to figure out the puzzle! Very nice and stimulating for his young brain! Keeps him busy and slows him down regarding eating his kibble so quickly! Proud mom❤️

Not the best
Loved how stimulating this was and how engaged my mini doodle was in this the first time. However the second time she used it she pruned off the thin plastic top that covers the food dispenser and destroyed the entire thing. Very annoyed by this. She’s not a destructive dog at all and definitely hasn’t been able to destroy any other feeder puzzles.

Well made, good puzzle for dogs who need a challenge
I got this dog puzzle for my Australian Shepherd, to slow down how fast he eats and to give him something to think about. It’s well made, seems robust. It holds about a cup and a half of dry, small kibble. He’s had it just a few days, and he’s still figuring out how to open the lids to get the food. Mostly now he hits it hard so they spill. He did quickly figure out how to push on the clear top to get more food into the lidded compartments. I do recommend this for dogs who need a challenge.

Perfect size for all dogs it seems to me
This is my dog’s favorite and doesn’t fall apart like the others that immediately get deconstructed by my dog. I’ve even dealt with customer service with the Potaroma business and they are great to deal with. Highly reccomend

Subject is a high-drive, paw-dominant phenotype with significant maxillary capacity. Upon introduction to the unit, the subject displayed immediate arousal and pattern recognition regarding the visual markers.A schematic conflict occurred immediately. The subject attempted to apply horizontal force vectors to a mechanism requiring vertical manipulation. When this failed to yield results, the subject reverted to their primary dominance strategy: percussive maintenance (stamping). The subject successfully triggered the central reservoir via this stamping method. However, the payload failed to deploy due to dimensional incompatibility. This was determined to be an Operator Error (Administrator Level) regarding input diameter versus aperture size. The resulting behavior from the subject was not learned helplessness, but a logical cessation of effort. The observed 6-minute latency period involving static observation and social signaling was a correct diagnosis that the machinery was jammed. The subject correctly identified that further caloric expenditure would yield zero return on investment.Following a manual override to clear the obstruction, the subject re-engaged with zero latency, proving her initial logic was sound. The device functions as intended, though the subject still requires haptic cuing for the secondary cap-lifting phase.Pros:Withstands high-force interaction and full-mouth bitingReinforcement schedule is consistent if payload is calibrated correctlyValidates paw-dominant interaction stylesCons:Vertical lift mechanisms are non-intuitive for horizontal-focused subjectsZero tolerance for oversized consumables
