Better, newer design and function. Great buy!
I saw this new version of training collar and had to try it out. I have had the previous version and was very happy with so I wanted to see if this was better. There have been a few upgrades and a change I would not have made. The light has been moved to the front of the unit so it is MUCH easier to see it. The beep is much louder and changes patterns, so it’s easier to hear. The vibration is stronger as well. All of those changes are very very good! The one I don’t like so much is the power level adjustment. Before it was two button, up and down. Very easy to understand and adjust. The new version is a dial. You’d think that should be easy. But you press it down to change function. So you push down until you find the function you want to adjust, while it is in the down position you turn it up or down. If you don’t get it dialed to where you want it and have to lift your finger off, you have to push thru all the functions again to get to the right one. Now the vibrate and beep are easy, only 8 positions. The shock is 1-100. That takes at least 5 turns to get it to 100 from 0. That means lifting off the button going thru the functions and turning it again and repeat until your desired level. Not a good design feature.Overall I still say it’s a much improved version and I would gladly tell others about it.Happy training!!

It Works and not too Bulky
This product works as described. I like that the switch for shocking can be turned off and not easy to shock by mistake as i won’t use the shock on my dog. I found it you train just to sound and vibrate it works very effectively. My previous dog and current are both stubborn to recall outside. 1st I use vibrate which works 98% of the time , the odd time I will switch to the sound. If you choose to use shock rather than use the tester you may wish to test to see exactly what your dog will be feeling, start low..I just feel if you have to shave hair etc. maybe try something else if possible. My dog has double coat of curly hair and has no problem feeling the vibration at all. My dog is relatively small at 11 pounds and this fits well once sized. I also dont size it so its tight as its not necessary for my dog..he can also hear the vibration so the prongs dont need to go through his hair onto his neck tightly. So if you are going to size dont cut it too short before determining which length will work best for your pet.

Easy to use, excellent customer support, great value for the money.
I purchased the Slopehill E collar with 2 collars. Overall for the money, it is a very good product, and I would recommend it to others. The only downside to the product is the belt clip on the remote. The belt clip is a thin plastic clip, and doesn’t appear very durable. I’m hesitant to hook it on my pant or belt. Overall the remote and collars are very easy to operate. The remote had an issue on the 2nd day. The Adjustment gear button that controls the levels of beep, vibration, and shock, stopped working. However, I called Customer Support, made a short video of the problem, and emailed it. I had a replacement remote within 48 hours. The Customer Support was top notch in my book.

Product Durability and Effectiveness
Great product, I was skeptical at first after reviewing many similar products, however I just saw this as the best one and after using it , I am 100% satified. The range is amazing and the battery life is excellent, I could not ask for a better product and I would highly recommend it. The functions are easy to understand and you have different level settings to match your dogs age and size. Its very durable, waterproof and effectictive, I also like the fact that there is a knob that can be used to prevent accidental shocking.

Stopped working after 1.5 months
Worked great for 1.5 months – died and stopped working. Collars will no longer turn on after charging. Remote turns on and will not respond with them as collars do not turn on anymore. Battery life was a day or two. Not durable as it hasn’t even been 2 months since purchase.

Easy to use, great battery life, great range & fits well in your hand!
The remote is nice looking, sturdy, feels good in your hand, and the buttons are located in easy to reach places for one hand operation. The shock option can easily be turned off, while the other functions can still easily be accessed, and it can also be completely turned off so when it’s in your pocket there won’t be accidental activation. The levels on all three collar options are easily changed as well. The collars themselves are pretty compact and light weight, very sturdy, and they light up with a button on the controller so your pup can be spotted easily at night, the sound can be adjusted to be pretty loud, level 1-8, same levels for vibration too, and the shock feature levels between 1-99, getting your pup’s attention quickly. The battery life is good, during training the power lasts us over a week with about 6 hours of daily use. It has a great range too, and I really like that the collars and controller use a usb-c connector to charge instead of a special charger like most other brands, so I will always have a charging cord when traveling because it’s universal. Overall, in my opinion, this it the best collar I’ve used to date, the functionality is easy, battery life is great, and the whole set is nice looking too!

My favorite training tool.
These are my FAVORITE!!!! This brand is my second purchase. I had my first purchase over 6 years, but I accidentally got the transmitter too wet when I was cleaning it. I’m so embarrassed especially for as long as I had it lol. I immediately ordered another one because of the land I have my babies like to run and play. When they get excited they don’t come to me when I yell, but all I have to do is hit the beeper and they come running back. I know my babies are protected with these collars. I never have to use the shock because they understand the beeper. This makes me very happy 🩷. Just remember to train your animals correctly!!!! Do Not use this as a punishment!!!!! This is a good training tool.My dogs actually get excited when I put their collars on. They know they’ll be outside for awhile and they get to run and play lol.

We had a previous e-collar for my dog. Here are all the things I appreciate about this collar in comparison:Pros/nice-to-haves:- loud beep/sound: Other than recalling my dog when he’s off leash, I occasionally use the noise or vibrate to get my dog to come home when he plants his butt outside. I like that I can hear when it goes off too. There are other tones that differ in volume and melody, which I also like because if my dog gets used to one tone and starts ignoring it, I know that switching it to something new will work again. There are also quieter tones.- Bright colour (orange): my dog has long black fur around his neck, so having a bright orange colour helps it stand out on his neck instead of getting buried. I can see it for easy access. Reflective strips are also a bonus.- Easy to take on and off: it’s a simple clip buckle that allows the collar to go on quickly and you can take it off with one hand. My previous e-collar had notches like a belt/watch that was getting annoying to take on and off time and time again- Long battery life/active time: I haven’t had to charge the remote or receivers yet for a little over two weeks since the initial charge. The two hours before standby time feature is great. My previous e-collar seemed to have a short time until it shut off completely, but now I know the collar is ready for each hour-long walk and I don’t need to keep turning it on and off again.- Shock mode really is designed as a last resort: the remote has a slider to switch between off/shock/no-shock mode. Since the no-shock mode is all the way at the end, it’s easy to slide right up to, gliding right past shock mode, and you need to actively slide to shock mode. This is good because it would be very difficult to accidentally go on shock mode. I leave the remote in my pocket during the walk and I can slide the remote into the no-shock mode with confidence and without even needing to look at the remote, which leads to the next pro.- Textured/clearly spaced buttons: I can easily feel for the sound or vibrate buttons without even looking at the remote.- Two-pack of receivers is convenient: this is great if you have two dogs or aren’t on top of charging! I am in the latter camp. Since there isn’t a battery level indicator on the collars themselves, I foresee myself running into the issue where I’ll be on a walk, trying to use the collar, only to find out it’s out of charge. With two collars, I can easily swap them out before the walk. Both collars can be paired to one channel to make this easy.- Shock tester included: there’s a plastic piece with a light included so that you can test that the shock function really works (in case you don’t want to test it on yourself).- Easily adjustable to dog: you just need to slide the collar belt to customize length precisely.- light: there’s a light with two modes. Good for night time walks and if I want to locate my dog in the dark backyard.- LCD screen: very easy to read. The LCD makes it feel high-tech tooCons/user error/minor inconveniences:- Adjusting knob is a bit unintuitive: you need to press the mode (vibrate/beep/shock) and then press the knob at the top and then turn the knob. It’s probably just me, but I always need to turn the knob both ways to see which way actually works. This is only a minor inconvenience since I’m not going to be changing the modes much.- Control got a little dirty: since I put the receiver in my pocket, some of the dye rubbed off on my pants onto the orange plastic part.- The power button location: I usually put the collar on my dog’s neck before I remember to turn it on. Then, I need to feel for it a bit because the power button isn’t in a central location and has the same material as the flap covering the charging port. It’s also slightly underneath one of the prongs, adding to the difficulty. Only takes a couple of seconds to turn it on though.None of these inconveniences are worth knocking a star off and I’m overall really happy with the product as it helps me handle my dog perfectly.

What a well thought out device! The collars aren’t flimsy, the remote has a good weight to it, and nothing feels cheap.I really appreciated how tough it is. The IPX8 waterproof rating is one of the best ratings you can get. IPX8 means the device can be fully submerged in water without damage, beyond just splashes or rain.In open areas it responds, and even with some obstacles around, the signal is there. What really makes this collar practical is the variety of modes. Puppies or dogs can get use to non varying stimuli. Using the vibration and sound tone have been great for getting attention without being too harsh. You get select various different tones and vibration levels. This is a great design since dogs can get use to the same stimulus. The shock function is there but I will never use it as I do not think that it is a good way to train. The good thing is that there is a switch (off, on , shock) such that you can use to avoid any accidental shocks by not placing the switch on the shock position. The remote itself is easy to use. The buttons are laid out well, and I make it easy on myself by always having my finger on the button to use while it is in my pocket so there is no fumbling. Battery life has also been good for me and the USB charging makes it simple. The design team has actually thought about everything such that the USB has a splitter wire that enables you to charge the remote and collar at the same time.Fit-wise, the collars adjust easily and work well and is designed to be adaptable to all neck sizes.. The collar sits and fits well on the collar and my dog doesn’t seem to be bothered by i during normal movement or longer wear. But there is some resistance when I attempt to put the collar on her which with time should decrease especially when I give her treats. The SLOPEHILL training collar is dependable, sturdy, and offers great flexibility with its different tones and levels of vibration.

The Slopehill shock collars are easy to use and versatile. I got these because I wanted a way to work with two dogs from one remote and still keep things fairly gentle and controlled. Out of the box the pieces feel decent for a budget style kit. The collars are lightweight and the straps have enough adjustment to fit small medium and larger dogs once you trim the extra length. The receiver units sit fairly flat against the neck and the buckles are easy to open and close. The remote is simple to understand with clear buttons for beep vibration shock and light plus the option to switch to a no shock mode. The screen is readable and it is straightforward to pick which dog you are controlling at any moment. In actual use I really liked having multiple non shock options. The beep and vibration modes are usually enough to get attention for most basic training and reminders. I like that I can start with the lowest level and treat the stronger functions more as a backup. The flashlight feature on the collar is handy in the evening since it makes it easier to spot the dog in darker corners of the yard. The waterproof rating is reassuring around puddles and wet grass and the collars have handled normal outdoor use without complaint. The remote feels comfortable in the hand and the range is more than enough for typical backyard and open field training. The separate buttons help reduce mistakes so you are less likely to hit the wrong mode if you are paying attention. Charging the collars and remote is simple with the included cables and the runtime is enough for several sessions before you need to plug them in again. There are some drawbacks for me. The plastic hardware and straps are more on the light duty side so I would not expect them to last forever. The receivers are compact but still noticeable on very small dogs so they may feel a bit bulky on tiny necks. As with any training collar you need to be careful about fit and contact points so the collars are not too tight or left on for long uninterrupted periods. I also think it is best to rely mainly on the gentler modes and use the stronger ones cautiously and thoughtfully rather than as a first choice.Overall I think this Slopehill set is a decent option if you want one remote for two dogs with a mix of beep vibration and other functions in a waterproof package. It is light handy and offers plenty of control for basic training and recall work while giving you the flexibility to choose how strong you want the correction to be. I would rate it about four out of five overall.

I have a pooh that pulled alot and forgot the objective of our stolls when we’d come across another dog. The Slophill shock collar was a great assistant when our sounds and signals were no longer working. I really like that it has sound and vibration features. I find I use those alot more. As for ranch, i have to be honest and say i havent let my boy too far away. We’re in cougar country so I don’t want to take my chances until he’s older and has built up his self-defense. I did try the shock feature on myself on low…it’s not fun 😆I recommend educating yourseld on how to effectively use a shock collar BEFORE going on your first walk. Slopehill has some great resources available for free. The idea is to use it as a tool to correct their behavior.I really recommend this product!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5): Exceeded expectations.⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5): A few small issues.⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5): Good, some flaws.⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5): Noticeable issues.⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5): Didn’t meet expectations
