Easy to use
The tether passed its first tests with flying colors. We used it in both our Pilot SUV and our Ridgeline pickup. We opted for the headrest anchor and it worked great in both vehicles. Bentley was comfortable in both vehicles and had enough length to look around and also lay down in the back seat. This was much safer plus we only had nose prints on one window!

Lots of option for tethering my dog!
I have a very high energy 80 lb Lab who likes to jump around in the back seat and has a tendency to jump on the release button on the seatbelt. Since switching to this fastener, I found that looping it securely around the headrest works best for him. It is more comfortable for him to have the smooth bench without the metal part of the belt sticking up from the seat. I was worried that he would be more persistent at trying to get into the front seat because of the bungee with allows him a longer lead, but it’s the opposite. Having more freedom and comfort in the backseat allows him to fully settle. One thing worth noting though, he did manage to tangle himself up in it better badly on one occasion – this is something that never happened with the traditional belt. I think the stretchy bungee allowed him to get into a position that he couldn’t get out of. I’m going to keep an eye on it and if it happens again, I’ll come back to remove a star.

Heavy duty seatbelt strap
I have used seatbelts when transporting my pets for more than a decade so I think I have a decent amount of experience with different features and quality. This is well made, solid stitching, the hardware is heavy duty and feels secure with a locking carabiner, and having multiple methods of securing to the vehicle allows for versatility if the seatbelt buckles are in use. 10/10 will buy more for each of my pets as I replace aging seatbelts.

Great security for a dog in the car
Works great for holding my dog secure. I have tried the other kind of seatbelt that buckle in and unfortunately, my dogs have pushed the button to release the seat buckle so obviously those are not what I need. I like this one that it wraps around the headrest and attaches to my dog harness. I feel very safe, knowing that my dogs are secure when I am driving. Should something happen they would have a difficult time Getting loose and run away. I would recommend anyone who has dogs to make sure that they are secure in their car and this is the dog seatbelt that would do that quite nicely to put your mind at ease.

Works good
The dog seatbelt does a great job of securing the dog. I would have appreciated a bit longer leash. It does reach to the center console, but just barely. If your dog likes to rest on the center console, this will not work very well.

Fits perfect on the headrest
I have been looking for a dog seatbelt for awhile – this was great. I prefer to hook my dog’s collar on the leash portion, so the versatility of this was great for my use. The collar portion fits great around the headrest and the straps are all adjustable which is nice as well.

The plastic clip securing the seatbelt to the head rest snapped on the first use due to my dog moving around. Very worried the clip would simply snap in an accident
