Great treat ball that does exactly what it says! Soft rubber that will not damage your floor/be noisy!
I love this for my dog. She’s an adopted adult after she retired from the racing track so she’s not accustomed to toys. This was easy enough for her to figure out after a few days, but still challenging enough to keep her occupied for a nice while. She usually inhales her food, never chew, this is a great way to make her chew at least some of the kibble. I put her kibble in it which is the perfect size (about 1-1.5cm circular). I love that this is made of a soft rubbery plastic, we live on the top floor of the building, any hard plastic toy would be noisy for our neighbors living below. I’d recommend this for mental stimulation, entertainment, and slower feeding (though not realistic to feed ALL kibble in this ball if your dog is larger). Color is random. Easily cleaned if you just soak it in warm soapy water if you don’t get any liquid/pasty stuff inside. I only use this with hard/dry kibble. Small treats would work too but why the extra calories?!!

    A go-to puzzle toy
We give our 55lb Pit Bull puzzle toys with treats inside every evening. She loves the challenge and these types of toys have proven to be great for her mental well being, and (bonus!) her teeth. We are constantly on the lookout for new challenging toys because for most of them, once she’s figured it out, she gets to the treat in seconds and then she’s looking for something else to keep her busy. We’ve now purchased this toy 4 times because by changing up what treat we put inside (pieces of string cheese, pieces of carrot, tiny peanut butter men, pieces of salmon jerky…) and because of its cool interior maze-like design, it continues to be a challenge. That’s really saying something! Other than Kong toys (and at this point they present zero challenge for her), this is the only puzzle toy that we’ve bought again and again. While that may seem to contradict any claims of durability, our dog is very much an aggressive chewer and this toy still lasts for 3 – 4 months before we decide to switch it out. In our experience, it’s never become dangerous (pieces breaking off), it’s just clearly worn. If you check out the pictures, you’ll see that the old ball is more egg shaped than spherical and that there are small slices where the treats are inserted. She tends to roll this ball around the house, stopping occasionally to pick it up and chew on it like it’s a huge gumball, trying to get the treats out. She does not try to dismantle the toy to get to the treats, that’s just not her style, and your dog’s approach to toys should absolutely be considered before you purchase this toy. I would describe the material of this toy as a firm silicone type material, but the manufacturer describes it as “rubber.” I am able to squeeze the ball and I would not describe it as “hard plastic” at all. (We stay away from hard/brittle plastic toys altogether.) The holes to insert treats are small and it can be a bit challenging to find treats that fit if you don’t want to just use kibble. All of that being said, this is one of our go-to toys and at this amazingly reasonable price for 3 – 4 months of use, it will continue to be so.

    Works Great for Apartments
I buy a lot of dog products on amazon and I have to say that this ball is one of the best purchases I made for my dog. Most of the other treat balls are made of hard plastic which can bang loudly on the floor and into walls. I live in an NYC apartment and the banging caused by hard plastic treat toys annoyed the hell out of my downstair neighbors. However, this ball is made of soft plastic and we no longer have to worry about loud banging noises. For that reason alone, I give this treat ball puzzle 5 stars.Yes, it is annoying to put kibble in one at a time and the food does fall out pretty easily, but this toy is cheap, simple, durable, bouncy, bendable, and quiet. The bendable plastic is great for playing fetch with small dogs too, since they can bite into the ball. The positives out weigh the negatives and in my opinion this is the best treat toy I’ve bought on amazon to date.

    Not dishwasher safe
My dogs loved it however it is not dishwasher safe. It came out of the dishwasher flattened. So washing it is hard to clean.

not to difficult not to easy
This is a great treat ball. I have ordered a bunch but this is the one I have ordered two of. One for each of my dogs and we use it daily. Other ones we have bought seem to not let treats out and they get so frustrated they either don’t play with them or break them to get the treats out. OR we get ones where the treats fall out with no effort. This one the dogs push them around with their nose and as it rolls the treats slowly fall out. Highly recommend. I ordered the purple.

    Good but material degrades.
My dog loves these, however they only last about six months. The material starts to degrade especially the inside flaps and the openings. The purple one was the lowest quality, the green and blue held up a little longer. They are cheap enough but wished they were made with a higher quality material.

My parents have a Vizsla puppy and this ball kept him occupied for hours over Christmas! He loves playing with it whether or not there are treats in it. Although he’s worked out how to get the treats out relatively quickly now, it can still keep him busy for half an hour or so. The ball has been robust enough not to become damaged by his incessant chewing so far.

My dog loves this toy! He is a large Husky X and typically destroys his toys within a day. This toy is very durable, he chews on it and it has not gotten any holes or damage to it. The hole that the treats go in and come out is pretty small and I had to buy the smallest treats the pet store had to put in it. He usually takes about 5-10 minutes to roll the ball around to get the treats out. The ball is a rubber type material so its also really bouncy, so it’s also really great to play fetch with. It’s our favourite ball dog toy we’ve had so far.

Super good toy! I actually received all 3 colours in a set, but thought I was only going to receive one. Great quality for the price. My 12 week old pup is still trying to figure out the point, but it’s a great toy to keep her occupied.
