bought for my 12 year old little yorkie, these bristles are extremly thin and soft, you won’t have to worry about bleeding gums. it fit very well in her little mouth. going to by a spare. recommend for little dogs. easy to fit in their mouth.

Great toothbrush for my little toy poodle!! It’s great softness for gums, since her mouth is itty bitty and we haven’t done brushing much before her teeth surgery her bums have bled a bit initially after using this which stains the brush. But that’s to be expected, the vet even said so don’t think it’s the brush’s fault. Love the size! Only complaint would be it’s hard to get dry and I worry about mold growth/replacing them more often since the bristles are so tight and very soft that there’s not much room for airflow at all in the center of the bristles. It’s a chunky kinda look. Still going to keep using it just may replace more than need to to be sure for my pup! It’s soft but firm enough to clean teeth ok, it isn’t enough to get a good scrub on plaque fyi just to keep them clean from debris from the day like treat bits stuck in teeth

I love this toothbrush, I struggled with other toothbrushes being too big and not able to brush right or just being too hard and the bristling not soft enough, but this toothbrush!! I’ll have to buy it again, it’s super soft and made brushing easier for my puppy! Her breath smells so good now, and she loves chewing on it, super durable!

Super fine, soft bristles. I really like this tiny toothbrush. The density of the bristles gives this small toothbrush just enough resistance to brush or apply gels with no pain to your pets. The head is small enough for small & tiny breeds, and cats.

Highly effective
This is the perfect size for my 9 pound Shihpoo, and it works super well. Her teeth are much whiter after brushing them for a couple times, and her breath improved. Highly recommended!

My beloved pointy headed spouse and I share our home with two impossibly spoiled dogs (ISDs). We go out of our way to ensure that our pups have only the finest quality food (which is nevertheless snubbed on a regular basis), a huge number of squeaky toys (of which only those filthy and crusted-with-old-slobber are actually played with), and receive the best veterinarian care we can’t afford (our vet is putting his three children through college on what we spend each quarter for our hounds’ medical care.) It should come as no surprise then, that we brush our ISDs’ teeth each and every night (although if I’m honest about it, we only get about 7 seconds nightly to “brush” each dog’s pearly whites so I’m not really sure if that counts as “brushing.”) Until I received these toothbrushes, we have used PET brand toothbrushes because they are the only ones small enough to fit in our pups’ mouths. I was intrigued to see the listing for these new toothbrushes especially designed for small dogs and puppies, although I couldn’t tell from the pictures if they were actual brushes or just pieces of foam stuck on a handle. It turns out they are brushes with incredibly dense and soft bristles. They are extremely gentle on the teeth and gums of our ISDs, and we actually get to squeeze in a few more seconds of brushing each evening with them. The design of the toothbrush’s handle makes it easy for us to hold on to it while dealing with less-than-fully-cooperative canines. The only concern I have is that the bristles may be too soft to remove any gunk from our older dogs’ teeth-even with the use of beef flavored doggie toothpaste. (I personally think someone ought to come out with a “deer poop” flavored toothpaste if they really want to appeal to dogs…) Without a doubt these brushes are perfect for puppies and/or small dogs who are not accustomed to having their teeth brushed, and I highly recommend them for “toothbrushing training.” However, only prolonged use will reveal whether or not they are “stiff enough” to remove used dog food from our pups’ chompers.
