Good brush
I think having this saves me so much money from having to visit a groomer often. It works pretty great. I recommend using this a couple times a week to help your pets especially during the summer. It removes hairs better than a regular brush. The design looks like it’s going to hurt your cat but it doesn’t. My cats purr when i brush them with this brush. It’s pretty easy to use as well and the sickness of the metal seems like it’s going to last for a long time.

Works well for proactive grooming but not getting out knots.
This works pretty well for grooming my cat. I like that there are two different sides on each tool for the type of grooming you’re doing. The deshedding brush works well for removing lots of hair and seems gentle. This did not work for getting out knots and would pull on my cat’s fur so don’t plan on using it for that. Overall I found this to be a good value for money given that it came with two different tools and I ordered a second set for my dads cat.

The comb works even better than I expected. I’m still unsure of the brush, but it’s definitely different than the rest I’ve used!

Very effective in removing matts.
My female cat, about 12+ years old, began having mats on her rear quarters. The brushes I had were not working. While scrolling on Amazon, I saw mat brushes. All of them looked the same and the prices were mostly between $10 and $15 until I noticed these. At less than $7 it was a no brainer! Into my cart they went. The bright orange/red color is easy to see/find. Mats are not fun for me to remove or for Charlotte to have removed. She is a short hair cat with a course top coat and a fluffy under coat where the mats formed. With a bit of complaining on her part, the mats are gone and all is well in the world. At least in Charlotte’s world. The comb is more effective for Charlotte’s fur than the brush, more like a rake, not as if she likes either one, until the mats are gone. I will be recommending these to my friends with pets with long or challenging fur.

Best tool ever
I have had other grooming tools for shedding. They worked OK but this one put them all to shame. I have a long haired cat and he begged me to keep brushing him with this. I had no idea how much hair I wasn’t getting off him with the other tools that I was using thank you.

This is one of the best brushes for deshedding long-haired dogs and cats, thanks to its durable stainless steel teeth, ergonomic handle, and efficient fur removal. It removes large amounts of loose undercoat hair without causing discomfort or tangling. My dogs and cats love it when I use it on them, and it works well

Works well
My Kurilian bobtail kitty has very long fur (about 3 inches long on her body). She doesn’t shed a lot and doesn’t really have an undercoat but she still needs grooming, which she has never liked. With age (14 yo), she has become increasingly sensitive – especially her hind quarters. I used to use a comb, which she hated and would run away from (I don’t use the comb that came with this set). I have found she is not afraid of the brush/tool. I use the more widely spaced teeth first, then the sometimes the finer teeth after. Both sides work well and I am pleased that she doesn’t run away from it – she even seems to like it (until she doesn’t, haha). I bought an expensive furminator years ago, which did nothing. This tool is much better.
