Great Collars For Outdoor Kitties!
I’ve purchased similar collars to these and they are great collars, especially for your outdoor kitties!We have two cats that enjoy going outdoors during the day. Most of the time they stay close to the house, but on a rare occasion, they will wander off and we use these to track them with Air Tags. These collars are great and they work as intended. If your cat gets into something they might get caught on, the collar breaks away as designed. One of our cats tends to go through some rough wooded areas and he gets the collar snagged on a branch. We have been able to find the collar in the woods by tracking it. It works just fine even after they lose it and we find it again.The reflector is really nice. If we let our cats out at night, the reflective design shines on camera and whenever light hits it. Even if we cannot see their actual body, we can see their collar moving around from a distance so we know where they are at. We do not like the bell on the collar but this one is easily removable if that is an issue.One thing that is annoying is the clasp. At first, the clasp is a little tight but it still breaks away if your cat gets caught up on something. However, after about a week or so of use, the clasp loosens up a little. The actual air tag holder, which is a silicon housing, starts to degrade after awhile. However, it takes several months of daily usage for it to degrade to the point where it will not hold the AirTag. The reflective strip starts to degrade as well but it still produces reflection even though it breaks down. While it looks dirty and degraded, it still does its job!In all, these collars usually last us several months before we have to replace them. For the price, it is worth it considering you get two collars!
