My dog hates it i love it.
I love it my dog doesn’t (he behaves). This helps me be peaceful with my dog without having to tell at him and raise my voice. He has been trained to know that if i even have to get up he knows he’s in trouble so I don’t even have to use it. The vibration works just as good. The shock isn’t ever needed unless it’s a serious situation.

Great!
I’ve had it for 8 days. If it disappoints in the future, I’ll revise this review downwards, but so far, it’s great for my purposes. I’m very, very pleased. I bought it purely for the beeper, on the strength of the claimed range. I don’t even use the actual collar or the shock function. I remove the shock studs (they just unscrew and you can put them back in later if you want) and covered those holes with electrical tape and hung the beeper/shocker/vibrator unit on my dog’s Blazin’ collar (those are great BTW) like a tag. I haven’t yet had occasion to test it at the claimed range, but it hasn’t failed to beep yet. It does not require a clear line of sight (it would be useless to me if it did). My dog can be invisible behind bushes and trees and I can locate her instantly. I had a cheaper “key finder” kind of product that was worthless, required a clear line of sight, and didn’t have anything like the claimed range. The only thing I can fault so far is a lack of clear instructions. That’s not unusual though, but a tragically common problem as U.S. schools turn out grads that can’t write – I’m not even sure they can be said to think – and a lot of “instructions” are written by people with only a pidgin level grasp of English. These are no worse than average, but that’s a low standard. So, fumbling around figuring it out I pressed the big red ultrasonic button, not yet understanding what it was. It’s good they make that button a bit stiff so as to resist accidental activation. Darn thing’s no joke. I didn’t hear a thing but my dog was very upset. I haven’t pressed it again, nor have I accidentally activated it while carrying the control unit in my pocket. That part seems very well done. The beep is a chirp that is quite loud enough to be useful but not so loud my dog seems upset by it. I don’t abuse it though. The vibrate function works and is accompanied by a low buzz that is audible if you are within a few feet. I can see how that might be useful in training, but I haven’t found a use for it yet. I plug this in to recharge every night, along with the Blazin’ collar it is attached to. I haven’t yet even needed to figure out how to recharge or change the battery in the sender, so it last at least a week anyway. I’ll come back to this when I have more to add – good or bad – and I must say that the fact reviews and ratings aren’t frozen and locked down once posted but can easily be revised – unlike a major competitor I won’t name – is a major reason I trust Amazon customer reviews and ratings a lot more than those on other etail sites.

Good Training Tool With Minor Flaws
This collar has really helped with my dog’s training. The range is solid, and the different modes (tone, vibration, and shock) give plenty of control depending on the situation. The remote is easy to use, and the battery lasts a long time. My only complaint is that the strap could be a bit sturdier it tends to loosen slightly after a few uses. Overall, it’s an effective and reliable training tool that’s made a big difference in my dog’s behavior.

Nice Dog Training Collar
Nice Dog Training Collar, it has sound mode (1-8 level), vibration (1-16 levels), shock (1-99 levels) and ultrasonic level for anti barking that really gets the dog’s attention. Excellent single dog bark collar with great range. The battery lasts a long time. It has been very helpful in correcting behaviors and improving my dog’s obedience.

IT COULD MALFUNCTION AND HURT YOUR DOG
I purchased this item to train my 4 month old Rottweiler puppy. Before use, I tried it on myself which was a smart and dumb move. I found out that I would never use the shock part on my dog, ever. On level 6 I almost electrocuted myself. But the vibrating part was perfectly fine. He didn’t quite know where the vibration was coming from but he responded well. It was delivered to me on August 18th and on October 29th yesterday my baby was eating his breakfast and suddenly he fell to the floor kicking and screaming. I had no clue what was wrong or what to do for him. Then I took the shock collar of him and for a few seconds he kept screaming. I was so confused and when I looked at the collar it was hot. I never knew it to be hot. So I went to my bedroom to get the remote from my dresser and it was turned off. I dont know how but the collar malfunction and shocked my dog for about 30 seconds. I don’t know if this has ever happened to anyone else but it surely happened to me. Now I refuse to put the collar back on him, even though the shock part doesn’t even work now. I tested it the next day and the vibration part works but the shock doesn’t. I’m thinking of buying a different brand but I’m a little skeptical about that. I was very happy with this item until this happened. I cried the whole day thinking he was in so much pain because of something I purchased. I’m not saying nobody else should buy this item, it might not happen to anyone else. I’m just stating my experience with it and I wish like hell I never bought it.

It only works half the time
An incredible training tool that is completely unreliable. All of the maladaptive behaviors that I have used this for have immediately retrained my pup and she has not repeated any bad behavior after. Chewing things, getting into the trash, stealing cat food – gone. The issue is that it is totally unreliable as to when it will work. Someone knocks on the door and she runs outside as soon as I opened it and refuses to let me catch her. It didnt work. I see her on the cameras when Im in the driveway 10 feet away getting into something because she thinks Im gone, didnt work. Its hit or miss so I cannot honestly recommend 100%. Good when it does work.

Finally a collar that works
This collar actually works. I’ve tried over a dozen different collars and non of them have ever seemed to work. Within the first week I already noticed my dogs behavior getting better. The ultrasonic method works great it discourages the barking and I’m able to get my dog to calm back down after seeing other dogs. The battery life is an excellent I only have to charge it about once every two weeks.
