Finally!! This collar works great! I’ve only needed to use the tone with vibrate for my Sheltie, Sophie. She barks once, and looks around to try and figure out what just happened. I don’t like having to put it on her, but apartment living frowns on barking dogs. Happy with my purchase.

This anti bark collar is a bit larger that I would like, but it is not heavy. I have tried it on my 8lb dog and after cutting a lot of length off the collar it does fit. Besides the collar being long, the device itself is large for small dogs and would be better suited for those at the higher end of the weight range. However, my dog doesn’t seem to mind it and again it’s not heavy on her neck.The functioning of the device is good. It has a lot of options to adjust it for your dog and has multiple sensitivity levels. It says it “learns” to differentiate the wearer barking and other dogs barking in the same vicinity. There are two different lengths for the prongs, one set for shorter hair and one for longer hair. You can choose from three modes – beep, vibration, and shock. I like that there is an option to only use vibration if you don’t want to shock your dog. You can also set it to do all three modes, beep first, then vibration, then shock if the dog continues barking.I wasn’t planning to use the shock option since decades ago when I had tried a shock collar on a previously owned larger dog, I did not like it at all. But I decided to test out the shock on this collar on myself. It is a very gentle shock and doesn’t hurt at all, is more just mildly uncomfortable. I would compare it to the sensation of placing a 9-volt battery to your tongue. I feel like if the vibration doesn’t work on your dog, the shock isn’t likely to work either because it is quite gentle. Unless there is a way to turn it up that I haven’t found.For most of my dogs, the vibration mode is sufficient to distract and redirect my dogs from barking. For a couple of them, it doesn’t work at all! I did try the shock mode on one dog, and she wasn’t bothered by it either. So I feel like either it will work great for your dog or it won’t work at all. At least that is my experience.I am using the collars as a training device along with commands that I can use after they no longer need to wear the collars. I don’t think this is made to be worn day in and day out forever. It will lose the ability to surprise the dog out of barking. Now if I could just train my naughty cats to stop antagonizing the dogs so they bark at them.The battery life on the device is great. It lasts for weeks, over a month, before needing recharged. I really like that it uses a standard usb-c cord for charging. Another couple collars I have use either a micro-usb which is so outdated, or a cord that only matches the device, nothing else which is a problem if the cord ever fails. So the standard charging port is big plus.

The collar works as it should, but my dog got accustomed to the sound and vibration, and he barks along with it. I didn’t want to do the shock.
