Works just as well as name brands for half the price
I recently picked up the Amazon Basics topical flea, tick, and mosquito repellent, and I have to say, I’m really impressed! I was a bit skeptical at first because I usually go for well-known brands, but this product shows that you don’t always have to spend big to get quality.I’ve been using it on my dogs all summer and it seems to work just as well as the name brands I’ve tried in the past. We’ve been out for walks, and thankfully, no fleas or ticks in sight! Plus, it really does help keep the mosquitoes at bay, which is a nice bonus during our evening outings in the south.The application is straightforward, and my pups don’t mind it at all, which is a huge relief. It’s cost-effective too, so I don’t feel bad about reapplying monthly. If you’re looking for a reliable flea and tick solution without breaking the bank, I highly recommend giving this a try. It definitely exceeded my expectations!

Good but not as great as oral treatment
So I have 5 total dogs in my care and needed something right away to treat fleas. The product came super fast. The dogs had a bath the weekend before the treatment came. I applied it as directed and waited. My 1st observation was the dogs scratching insanely. I thought it was getting the job done. Truthfully it helped alot but the two dogs with longer fur still had fleas. Brushing and flea powder helped. I hope this helps.

Same ingredients at the same amounts as K9 Avantix II, but at an extremely better price point!
Absolutely wonderful product, andthe pricing saves me tons of money. This is the same ingredients at the exact same amounts as K9 Advantix II, except it’s $20 as opposed to $80 for the same 6 month supply. It does fleas, ticks, and mosquitos. We’ve been using it for years now, since it used to be Solimo and now Amazon. Great product at a superb price point! The only “con” I can think of to this product is the applicator. When you go to cut the tip off in a straight line it leaves two very sharp plastic edges on the applicator. Now, if you’re careful and aware of these sharp edges, no problem, but just in case you’re not, be careful whe pressing the applicator tip on your dogs back or the sharp edges can scrape or nick your dog, which will allow more product to enter. Now, to avoid this entirely, when you go to cut the tip of the applicator with scissors just use the scissors to cut the tip in a ounded shape exposing the applicator. Make sure to cut off those sharp edgess! Amazon, if you’re listening, this is literally the only con to the product, the sharp edges after you cut the tip o the applicator. We love this product though!

Looses effectiveness after a couple applications
It worked for a couple months but the 3rd and 4th applications just weren’t as effective.

Only worked for first application, the rest were non-effective.
Worked great the first application our pup stopped scratching all together. Second application seemed to work about 50% as well. Third and fourth application have not helped whatsoever. Unfortunately I bought two packs of this product and it’s too late to return my unopened box. I would highly recommend just about any other product out there besides this one.

Seems to work great. My dogs don’t have fleas or ticks and I have been using this for well over 6 months now.This is a great value compared to other permethrin treatments on the market and works just as well.

Amazon COMES THROUGH AGAIN with another great product!!!
I will say I was a little skeptical being that it is an Amazon Basics but I will say I AM DONE QUESTIONING AMAZON BASICS this product really works, our little girl has no issues with fleas, no ticks, to mosquito issues either. I compared it to larger AND MORE EXPENSIVE BRANDS and it is literally the same product using the same chemicals to prevent fleas and ticks and to be honest I am impressed! Not once have we found any ticks or fleas or any itching issues other than typical doggie scratching once in awhile and even our vet recommended using Amazon….. It is easy to apply and it works past the 30 day mark (sometimes I forget a few weeks off the last time I applied it) the product quality is fantastic and I highly recommend it! 8 months and counting ZERO ISSUES a must buy!
