Great tug…not a chew toy.
12/09/25 – Update to review below….I still have this tug and use it almost daily. My Malinois is now 17 month old. The hole he chewed in it at 11 weeks is still there, but the tug has held up beautifully otherwise. The stuffing has not come out. Imagine that 2-3 times a day, a male Malinois does bite work on this thing and it’s still going 16 months after purchasing. I am purchasing 2 more today just to have around. Again, if you let this be a chew toy, it probably won’t last long at all. It’s not a chew toy! Mine only has a hole in it because my little sneak puppy got it when I wasn’t looking and used it as a chew toy. However, the product has remained useful and in play has he has matured into an almost full grown dog. Impressive!This is a great product if you use it how it’s intended….for controlled tug. It’s not a chew toy. For my 11 year old Dutchie, it’s her favorite thing. She only tugs and fetches it. My 11 week old Malinois is a different story. He has gotten in a chewed a small hole in it, but…that’s not a product fault. That’s a me fault. This thing would last forever if just used as a tug. Don’t let your dog chew toy it. Oh, and the Mal pup loves to tug with it too!

High-quality, durable training tug! (it’s not a chew toy)
Great and durable training tug, my malinois-pittie mix loves when any of his Bull Fit tugs come out!I purchased this linen two-handle tug at the same time as another Bull Fit two-handle firehose tug to see which fabric my dog and I liked using better. It’s held up well like my other two Bull Fit firehose tugs and offers my dog a little better grip than the firehose material. After using both linen and firehose, my personal preference is for the firehose material, as it’s a little slower than the linen to get soaked with slobber, and is seems to be a little more odor resistant than the linen to the dried slobber smell between washes (both tugs are machine washable though, which is really nice). My dog doesn’t seem to have a preference, he’s just pumped whenever any of his Bull Fit tugs come out, but the linen does seem to keep him slightly more engaged specifically when we’re tugging in close quarters (in the bedroom as opposed to outside) and/or if he’s already tired from agility/playing/training/hiking. The linen in general seems to keep hesitant or soft-mouth dogs more engaged when I’ve used it working with other dogs.This tug is holding up wonderfully with minimal signs of wear after 9 months of weekly use. The quality of the stitching and material seem really good.I’ve purchased a couple other of Bull Fit’s tugs (the singe-handle firehose tug and the above-mentioned two-handle firehose tug) for working with different dogs / in different situations, and they are of a similar high quality. I will continue to recommend/purchase Bull Fit tugs.Reminder to non-professionals and new trainers: this is a tug toy, not a chew toy, don’t leave your dog to possess this after playing/training with you.

Durable & great value
My malinois puppy loves it! We have a lot of fun playing tug. However I had to take a star away because the handles are super uncomfortable it’s so bad that my hands start hurting after a longer play session. Still deserves 4 stars because no other tug made it this long. A few spots started ripping but that’s after weeks of play and it’s still holding up pretty good!! Great product!

More durable than the jute tugs I’ve been buying off of Amazon
This tug quickly replaced jute as my dogs favorite. The bright color is playful and easy to see. The French linen allows for a good bite while still maintaining its structure. Much more stable than the jute tugs I’m used to. I was happy enough with this that I went ahead and bought the single handle puppy version which we take on walks for engagement. Definitely a fan

Product durability lacks toughness.
My dog loved his tug. Unfortunately, after using this tug with my dog supervised always the tug tore and stuffing came out just 1 month after purchase. This is rather quick as this is not a chew toy and has only been used when I have time to play with my dog. Disappointed at the durability of this product.

The Best
This is my favorite toy by far. I love that we can use it in a few different ways. It’s great for tug, and when we play this we practice drop-it and then sit or down before I toss it to him to catch. He also likes to run around with one end in his mouth while I try to grab it from him and then we can tug end to end too. We’ve had it for a while now and I’m confident it will hold up well.

Perfect for tug, not a chew toy
My puppy and I are enjoying this. Oddly enough his needle-like teeth are more adept at damaging this than adult dog teeth would be.The two handles are nice but I’m guessing many people would elect for just one. It’s well made enough to cut one off and not have the whole thing disintegrate. No problems lifting a 30 lb puppy clear off the ground and it would tolerate much higher weights as well.Again, it’s not a chew. It’s an excellent product to train and bond with your dog. I highly encourage people look up Robert Cabral’s YouTube videos on how to use a toy like this due to all the confusion over tug and dog aggression. Then, get a product. I’d buy this again.

Had this tug for over a week and it’s still in one piece. My staffy normally goes through them like butter, this has stood up to our games of tug. Great tool for training and games.Highly recommend for rough and tough dogs.

I got this for my working line GSD to develop grip and it is a very firm and sturdy tug.Well worth the money I spent on it.Great quality, considering it’s from Amazon and not a dog sport gear store.
