DURABLE
I have two, large-breed dogs who are hard on their toys. This frisbee is a tad on the heavy side, but held up better than the fabric ones I had been buying. Under normal use, my pups go through about one frisbee per month. This frisbee made it three months, which I am happy with. The whistle feature is a little on the gimmicky/disappointing side, but still pretty cool. I think the whistling impressed the humans at the dog park more than my dogs…All-in-all this frisbee is very durable, I like the feel of the material, and most importantly, my dogs loved it to death until they finally tore it in half. I will buy another, and would recommend to anyone with medium or large dogs (it’s a bit heavy for small pooches).

I highly recommend this item. However be fair warned that it is heavier than normal frisbees. It is amazing when it whistles through the air, I actually think I like it more than my dog does. 😆 🤣 😂

A bit heavy but great for large mouthy dogs
We are on are second one of these frisbees, the first was accidentally thrown into an open septic tank…we had it for about six months, using it nearly every day and the second one we have been using everyday, all the times for two or three weeks. We leave it outside on our covered deck but sometimes outside in the yard. Our Heeler plays with it constantly and carries it around with him outside and chews on it.This frisbee pretty firm when you get it, but softens up quickly and becomes floppy. Since it’s also pretty heavy it can be a little harder to throw for me (female) and I have broken a nail a few times while throwing it. I would probably not recommend it for dogs under 38 Ibs as other reviews have said, it’s not for small dogs.The rubber Chuckit uses for their toys is amazing and the most chew proof/resistant material I have come across, it’s why I got this frisbee and why I only buy chuckit brand balls now. It’s durable and soft. My dog also likes how squishy it is. That being said, the dogs did manage to put a small hole in our first one playing tug-of-war with it after about five months but we had also been leaving it outside in sun, snow, and rain. AND it still worked fine with the hole.The whistles are hit or miss, they get gunked up and you really have to throw it to get much of a whistle anyway. It sounds pretty good in the video I posted with this review (the second one we got does whistle better than the first did) but it was really windy and that does make the whistles work better. So, don’t buy this for the whistling aspect.I’d say we could easily get at least a year out of this, maybe more, which is great for the price and in comparison to pretty much all non-ball toys my Heeler has ever met.Overall I would buy this again (and have). Chuckit makes really great dog toys! I am trying some lighter and cheaper frisbee options since this one is heavy for me but I will definitely continue to use this one on windy days and would recommend it for large frisbee playing dogs, multi dog families, and chewers! But I don’t recommend just leaving the dog with it to chew on it for hours, as with any toy they can and will eventually destroy it.

DANGEROUS!!! Not indestructible!
Update since yesterday.. CHOKING HAZARD!!!The pieces that create the whistle come out and if you’re not watching your dog, they could choke. Shame on you Chuckit for manufacturing a dangerous toy!!!!Extremely Disappointed.. It’s heavy to throw.Made of thick material but is Not indestructible.. especially for heavy chewing dogs. Damage in photo happened within 5mins of play. I bought 2, as to entice him to drop 1 and go for the other back and forth. We’ll see how they last can’t imagine for long. Btw the whistle feature is irrelevant, as soon as he chewed through it, it stopped working. *the only chuckit toy that lasts the test of time for my dog are the chuckit orange balls w/the chuckit launcher. Just wanted to try the disc to see if he’d like it.. unfortunately he only wants to destroy it!

My dogs favorite toy! She love to chase this thing. Very durable it takes a long time to be destroyed. I think I’ve bought 6 over the last couple years.

My girl Ruby LOVES this. She really couldn’t care less about the whistle, but something about the colors and the shape make her go nuts outside. She picks it up and goes mach-10 around the backyard. It’s made of the same stuff as the chuck-it sticks and balls so it’s very durable. She chews and chews and doesn’t get any pieces off. It’s also outside always and it’s still held up.

my dogs favorite toy. My Golden retrievers aren’t the best at catching things I throw. They can hear this one and its easier for them. Now maybe I can train them to give it back.

Achei curioso que esse brinquedo tem cheiro de chocolate branco e o cheiro permanece depois de meses de uso. Minha cachorra é uma Border Collie meio destruidora, mas só fica com o frisbee quando estamos brincando, não é disponível pra ela 100% do tempo, mas ainda assim, achei super resistente. Não deformou em NADA mesmo com a brutalidade da minha cachorra em alguns momentos. Ele sempre retorna ao formato original. O único “problema” do brinquedo é o peso. Acho ele pesado e ele voa por distâncias mais curtas por conta disso (pra mim é bom porque não vai MUITO longe), mas tenho problema no ombro e me canso mais rápido de jogar esse frisbee. Ainda assim, recomendo muito!

We have a bully mix and she absolutely freaks out over this toy cannot wait for us to throw it to her and even gives us a hard time dropping it so we can throw it again. She just loves it so much so far it’s held up. I don’t leave it for her to chew, though I take it and put it back in the house when we’re done playing with it.
