How to Use the Pet Thermometer?

Keep the pet in a quiet state before the measurement. Non-quiet state measurement will result in inaccurate measurement data.First of all, please wipe the probe with 75% medical alcohol cotton ball before using the device, and then wipe it with a dry or soft cloth. For ease of measurement, lubricants such as glycerin can be applied to the probe.Second, press the button to turn on the device and grab the pet’s tail.Third, insert the probe gently and slowly. The depth depends on the size of the pet, generally about 3 cm. Keep this state for at least 3~5 minutes, please hold the pet’s tail and the device with your hand when measuring.Finally, read the numbers displayed on the LCD screen.

Accurate Readings

Using a rectal measurement that more closely approximates the animal’s body temperature, get a more accurate reading.
