Wonderful Brush!
I REALLY like this brush. It removes dead and shedding hair easily and PAINLESSLY. I emphasize that because this brush is 100x better than the awful little pin brush I had that drew blood when I picked it up “wrong.” This brush is great for his skin and mine. Also, this brush is (generally) easy to clean. You have to really get in there and pinch pretty hard, but it’s painless and you can remove ALL the hair (without impaling yourself).And I have to mention the wooden handle. It gives it a premium feel that I really enjoy. It makes it feel very durable and sturdy, too.This brush is so good, I bought two of them (1 for the house and 1 for the car). Well worth it. I HIGHLY recommend!

Good quality brush
I originally bought this to brush my goats and the times are a bit short for that but they work great for my dogs. It’s a very durable brush and weighty enough to be comfortable to hold. The size is great for our larger dogs of 80 and 100 lbs. It’s not very easy to clean but most animal brushes aren’t so I’m not taking any stars off for that. I swear my dogs are shinier since using this brush.

Nice finishing brush
Nicely made of wood with coated steelhead wires. It’s hard to beat a good finishing brush and this one’s nice and simply made.. My dog in no way has long hair but this brush will remove a lot of the undercoat and fills up quite quickly. The price made a great value!

First brush my Aussie didn’t bite or run from
My poor Australian Shepherd is an absolute drama queen when it comes time for grooming, especially around his rear, which of course has the thickest hair! Normally he runs away or bites the brush and makes brushing him 10x harder than it needs to be. This is the only slicker brush I have found that he will semi-tolerate.His coat is thick and if I do not keep up with brushing it, then it will start dreading, tangle, or his undercoat will start matting. When I first used this slicker brush, I was surprised at the amount of undercoat that came out. He allowed me to do a full head-to-toe brush multiple times since I started using it without having to chase him around the house. The bristles are not sharp, they are flexible, and they have coated tips. I think the reason he is letting me brush him now is because this brush is not hurting, scratching, or pulling his hair. I did also use it on my smaller terrier mix who has short hair and mildly sheds, and it worked great on him too.Why I like it:*Gentle brush that does not pull, rip, or scratch*Removes a lot of loose undercoat*It is a lightweight brush and is easy to hold*My dog lets me groom him now*Easy to cleanThis slicker brush DOES NOT brush through serious mats. I used a dematting tool for that beforehand. Also, the handle looks like it is made from wood, but I am not entirely sure if it is wood or not. That does not bother me though, because the brush has so many positives to it.Now that he is letting me brush him though, I use it daily to stay ahead of tangles. I have also noticed less dog hair around the house now! I would 100% give this brush a try if your dog is sensitive or just give attitude while getting brushed.

Amazing Value!
These are excellent quality, especially for the price! The bristle tips have a smooth gentle feel. I only wish they were available in a half size and with a shorter handle, as they are they’re a bit unwieldy for small to medium cats.

Excellent! The slicker brush is very well made. It’s sturdy. The bristles are wonderful. They get to the bottom of my dogs coat. They are not too fine yet not too thick. The bristles don’t bend like other brushes with other brushes sometimes the metal bristles come loose not with this brush. It’s perfect absolutely perfect.I have a terrier. I bought one for my house and in one state and another one for my second house. This is the first brush that my dog does not cringe when I try to use it. Her coat looks beautiful. I highly recommend this brush.
