Using 6 out of 8 panels
I got the 8 panel version and 6 is plenty big to keep our pup contained. We have 2 dogs and they’re on different foods, so we have to feed them in separate areas so our older dog doesn’t eat all his little brother’s food. Our younger dog also isn’t allowed access to the whole house when we’re away, so this pen is perfect to keep him contained. Six panels I gives him plenty of space to have a bed and then his bowls at the other end. The panels are tall enough to keep him in but low enough to not block our view of the TV. The metal panels are sturdy and heavier than our old plastic pen so hopefully he won’t push them around. The instructions were very clear and everything was super easy to assemble.

Good to have
This type of paneled pen is a must have for every dog owner. I use them for quarantine-ing any new rescue who comes into the pack, I use them in a U shape in my front door hallway, surrounding the door so I can open the door for guests or packages without worry of any of my 5 darting out and currently I am using 2 put together as my night time potty pen since my dogs are tiny and my fenced in yard is too big to let them disappear into the shadows since any fox or coyote could be lurking in those shadows, this keeps them safely near me and in the light where I can see them as I stand outside with them. This one is sturdy and easy to assemble using long stakes that just slip into the hinges. You can configure it many different ways and add additional panels if needed. It’s my most used dog item!

Strong, easy to assemble, hard to move
This cage is very spacious, gives a decent amount of room for a puppy to run around in without being too cramped. It was very easy to assemble and the addition of plastic plugs for the holes so metal is not grating on metal is appreciated. The panels are joined together by a rod threaded through holes in the panels. This creates a strong connection that can withstand horizontal force applied (a puppy running into it). The only problem is that there is nothing to stop the rod from sliding out of place if the panel were to be picked up vertically. It would essentially just lift the panel entirely, disconnect from the other two panels, and leave a hole in the gate. This isn’t a problem in terms of keeping a puppy inside, it’s more of a problem if you want to move the whole cage without taking it apart, you just have to be more careful. Overall, it’s a good product that can keep puppies inside. I will update my review if our two foster puppies manage to figure out a way to escape.

Very easy to assemble. I will make a suggestion however, if you’re using it indoors and you might have pups that will push against the fence and maybe even tip it over. I used command strips on my hardwood floors so that the playpen will not move if you do, have excitable pups that try to bump up against it Stick one strip to the floor cut one the size of the small square feet on the bottom of the playpen stick it to the one you put on the floor and Walla push it down to the strip that’s on the floor and you are all set 🙂 I have been looking for one of these for ages, so glad that it was offered 🙂 I will recommend to everyone that has fur babies at home, and I know just as it is for us it will be a great success.

Easy to assemble and very versatile.
I recently purchased the DUMOS Dog Playpen Fence and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The 8-panel design provides ample space for my dog to play and exercise indoors. Exactly what I needed!
My sister recently adopted a puppy, and this playpen was amazing to have when she visited so that we could contain the puppy when we went on short outings. Her puppy is a micro-doodle, so basically a forever puppy, and I will be able to use this for all future visits. Assembly was pretty straightforward, and it’s a good-sized playpen, especially for a 6lb dog! I’m happily pleased and would recommend it.

Sturdy Fence
This is a very sturdy exercise pen for a puppy or small dog. It is advertised for small/medium dogs, but it is really for small dogs. The height is only 24″ so it will not contain most medium sized dogs. It is easy to set up from the box. I wish it had a floor os that the fence could be stationary. When the dog leans up against or stands up against it the pen moves. I worry that it may end of scratching my floors. Othewise, it is a great system for my pup.
