BORN OUT OF CARE

We started GoneNaturally because we were tired of choosing between a bug-free home and our family’s health. Our kids and cat play on these floors. We breathe this air. That’s why we made a spray powered by essential oils – not harsh chemicals. Tough on pests, gentle where it matters most.

So far, its doing its job perfectly!
I picked up this GoneNauturally Flea and Tick Spray to try in our household. We have a ball crazy, run til she can’t anymore, border collie dog. She loves running around in the woods behind our house too. We also have 2 strictly indoor only cats. We have never had an issue with fleas coming in on the dog and getting on the cats until this year. So when I saw this spray, I thought hey, let’s give this a try.My husband and I are big fans of products that offer more natural remedies over harsh chemicals for anything we can find one for. This spray says that it is safe around kids and pets. So far, so good! Granted, it is mid December right now, so we are kind of out of flea and tick season. I received this spray on November 26th and I did start using it the next day. We live in the Deep South. We didn’t have our first actual cold snap until a few weeks ago so we’ve still had some straggling fleas. Even though we treated all our animals through our vet for fleas, they warned us of eggs and their hatching later as a potential problem. Yuck. So, in came this spray. I came home (I’d received it the day before their vet appointment) and immediately washed all of their blankets and pet bedding and vacuumed the couch and chairs where they like to lounge. I vacuumed everything I couldn’t fit in the washer. After all that was done, I shook it up well (it says to shake well before using), and I sprayed the mess out of everything with this spray. But first, I did test sprays on small spots on all the different materials where the dog and cats like to lay, and the rugs too. I had zero issues on any fabrics with this spray – it was all fine for me. Our couch, the rugs, our comforter, blankets, the dogs bedding and her blankets, the cats’ heating pad and their blankets and little beds, the chair cushions, the cats’ windows hammocks – all of it was fine with this spray. I forgot to mention that its also unscented and its plant based in how its made which is awesome! Now, our animals are a bit backwards with this next thing. Our cats love baths and they love water, and our dog hates baths and doesn’t like getting wet at all. Like I said, backwards lol! So we did bathe the cats first. The dog, begrudgingly, took her a bath too. That’s also suggested along with the washing their stuff and vacuuming what you can’t wash. I did all of the things. I HATE fleas and I double hate ticks. We don’t typically deal with Lyme Disease down here but they are still creepy and I loathe them both with a flaming purple passion. Anyway, we are still a little worried about possible eggs hatching. We always get periods of warm snaps all thru the “winter” here. I have no clue if fleas come out during prolonged warmer periods (we are in one righr now – highs in the 60’s through Christmas day then a big temp drop) but I know I’ve been bit by a mosquito in January here during a warm snap so I’m not putting anything past those little minions of hades. So far the spray seems to be working great for the issue of the possible eggs. We haven’t seen any of the animals scratching nor have we seen any flea sign in their fur nor anywhere on them. I’m going ahead and giving this product 5 stars for now because it seems to be working really well. I know I’m using this at the same time they got a vet flea treatment and baths, so I am aware that it could be moreso that and not the spray. However, we haven’t seen any kind of sign that any eggs have hatched, and that would be due to this spray. Its a big bottle (32 Ounces) so I have no doubt that when spring rolls around I’ll still have plenty left for when those nasty little buggers start coming back out en masse. I will come back and update my review if I see that the spray is turning out to be not as effective as I think it is now. If I dont update this review and its well into the summer months, then take that as my 5 star review stands and its working as advertised. If I have to use it all before then I absolutely will buy another bottle and keep using it through the busy “pet bug seasons”. I personally think that this is a good buy for the price because it seems to be working for the eggs as they are not hatching. Or at least it doesn’t seem like they are. Its, again, a big bottle and its working so this spray, to me, is worth its weight in the finest of gold! I hate fleas and ticks (and mosquitoes) so much, like I can’t explain how much without using far too much colorful language for this review. I will definitely buy more if/when I run out. It is truly unscented too. My husband has a freakishly sensitive nose, and super sensitive skin. If it had a smell, he would smell it and he doesn’t smell a thing. If it had anything in it that would cause a reaction or irritation of the skin, that too would happen to him, and it hasn’t. Those things are also worth their weight in gold – we have double gold weight with this now! The sprayer sprays good and its super easy to use. It doesn’t leave spots on any of the fabrics I used it on. I have tried too many products that claim to be all of this and aren’t what they claim. This GoneNaturally Spray, so far, is everything it claims to be and a bag of chips. I’m serious. Its awesome so far!Bottom line – right now I have zero cons for this product. I dont expect to have any cons in the future either. It seems to do exactly what it says. Its plant based and not toxic nor harmful to kids (humans in general I suppose) or pets, and I haven’t had any fleas pop up. I can only pray this stuff does the job on ticks when that time rolls back around! Oh! I also spray this on my dogs fur too! I don’t with the cats, because the like their baths. Plus, its our dog that runs out in the woods and brings the nasty little things inside, not the cats. I just followed the directions on the back of the bottle and I have sprayed her several times during this current warm snap. It has not irritated her skin and I have not seen her itching beyond a normal run of the mill itch. So it works well that way too. I can’t believe I almost forgot to add that!So yep – zero cons for you. I will update if I need to when we get well into spring and much more steady warm weather if, and only if, this spray does not work then. It seems to be working really well for us and our needs now! I would absolutely, positively, 100% recommend this flea and tick spray if you have the same issues I do, or if you have animals at all. I’m sure this could also be used as a layer of deterrence too. This stuff is working awesome for us! I will absolutely keep buying it for our pets and home!

Truly odorless, not sticky, and doesn’t stain!
While I don’t think that this can be used solo if a pet has a true flea infestation, I think that this is a great product for treating the home as a suppliment to things like flea baths and such if there are signs of fleas. This product really doesn’t have a smell. Plenty of things claim that and it’s not true, but this one really is! I also didn’t have any issues with it staining or changing the color or feel of fabrics when I tried this on pet beds, carpet, and a few other fabrics. It dried without leaving any noticeable residue, and the fact that it’s natural and safe for pets and kids is fantastic. The spray bottle itself had a well functioning nozzle, and this does seem to actually help to kill fleas and eggs relatively effectively. Again, I wouldn’t trust this to spray directly on a flea infested animal as that’s not really going to penetrate fur. And I really just don’t think that it would work long term so it would need frequent applications as a preventative. But I really do love the ease of use in the home. Since I volunteer with a rescue and have cats in and out of the home all the time in various conditions, plus our own dogs that are in and outside, it’s always great to have a way to help to prevent any sort of flea outbreaks by occasionally treating their bedding and other areas in addition to the standard monthly meds that we tend to use on the animals. I would definitely recommend this!

Pleasantly surprised with the odor (lack there off!)
I really chose the wrong time of the year to purchase this spray, but I like to always have a flea tick spray as our climate in the southeast can be very warm even in winter months. I have not yet had an occasion to use the spray directly; however, I still wanted to review what I have observed. The product was well packaged, and the sprayer works well. When I chose this product, I didn’t pay much attention to the scent and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it is actually scent-LESS! Most flea/tick sprays that are natural have essential oils and then have some smell like peppermint or eucalyptus. It was so refreshing to take a few whiffs of this and realize I wasn’t smelling anything. I then finally read the label on the front where it clearly states scentless.
