Great for small-medium breeds
My dogs love these. It does help with slowing down their eating. Easy to clean, great depth, slip resistant, color matches picture. The size is perfect for a small to medium sized dog, but too small for a larger breed. I would definitely recommend.

Great bowl
Bowl works well with my food inhaling German shepherd. It slows him down which is super important because of GDV in deep chested dogs. It’s even dishwasher safe!

Ok so my boys definitely eats slower with this bowl. Works as it should. The depth is decent, I mean you don’t want green to hurt themselves trying to dig for food. Easy to clean with hot spray of water n soap. Easy to use and smoosh homemade food in it. Slower eating for sure, went from 1 min to almost 5 to eat it now. Price was not bad. Very well made. Only thing that would make it better is to be more non slip. That part is why I gave it 4 stars.

No more Gagging!
Our first experience with a slow feeder was with a different brand/style bowl that my daughter had bought from a local Pet Store. It slowed our Yorkie down, but not enough, and he was still eating too fast/gagging on his new soft dog food. Our dog gets fed at two different locations during the day, so I wanted to purchase a 2nd bowl… so ended up deciding on this one. So far we have been really happy with the design of the product as it slows him down more than the other one we have, and no more gagging from eating too fast, which I’m sure was not healthy for my pup! I also like the non-skid edging and that it was a good value for the money.Note: be sure to get the proper size bowl for the serving of food being fed. Part of our issue with the other style of bowl may have been that it was a 1-cup bowl, whereas I ordered the 1/2-cup bowl when I purchased this one. It will make a difference in how well it will function for the need.

It does slow down a dog’s eating rate.
I bought this bowl for my female dog to try to get her to eat a little slower. It has accomplished that goal, She now has to eat a little slower and so that actually allows her to chew her food better. It’s easy to clean and has a non skid bottom, so it does not travel across the floor. I love the gray color , it allows me to see if she missed any of her kibble.

I have a 9 mos old adopted puppy. She came by way of Texas. Anyways, she’s a bolter. Then she goes to our other doggo’s dish. Colour me unamused.This has slowed her gulping down to a normal speed. No more tummy grumbles in the middle of the night. We feed her kibble for breakfast, and it slows her down immensely. Her dinner was actually the real problem. Our dogs get boiled meat (beef or chicken, depending on age), ½ a hard boiled egg, some wild rice and carrot. She can chomp that down in seconds flat. So this dish makes it possible for her to have to slow down and taste her food.It’s the perfect size for a 10 lb dog imo. AND it’s dishwasher safe.
