Perfect for large dogs and fast eaters.
This bowl works perfectly for fast eaters. We have dogs that eat their dinner so quickly they have choked and required assistance. The bowl has a rubber grip ok the bottom and it kept the bowl from sliding around when our dog was using it. We use it for prepared dog food but it will work fine for dry dog food as well. The raised wedges in the bowl are one inch high, the bowl bottom is 9.25″ and its height is 1.5″ for the exterior of the bowl. The wedges are spaced about a quarter inch so it is very easy to clean. It is a very solid bowl, one of our girls is a puppy and very destructive, I feel comfortable giving her the bowl for use and do not think she will be able to destroy it. It is a large capacity bowl and is able to hold several cups of food. It will hold two cups of dry dog food with it up to the wedges tops, if you fill it to the top we got about 5-6 cups. (photographed) I would definitely purchase this product again. Very high quality.

A Great Speed Limiter for Dog Feeding
Sometimes you have a young pup with a voracious appetite, one that inhales food so fast you wished there was a way to get her to slow down. Our dog falls into this class and this slow feeder dog bowl is designed to reduce food intake rate but not frustrate her. This model is great at doing that, as she normally eats her 1 cup of dry food in less than thirty seconds. We tried this on our dog and she did slow down her eating rate, taking about triple the time to finish her bowl of food.This bowl is made from high quality stainless steel, with prominent blocks that are built into the bowl. On the underside, it has a rubber strip around the base to keep the bowl from moving on the floor. The bowl has a capacity of three cups, but we only use one cup of food at each meal so for our dog the bowl is oversized. You can even place wet dog food in the bowl and it is an easy clean up by hand or dishwasher. I recommend getting this slow feeder bowl if your dog is food-obsessed like ours, as eating too fast can cause dogs to burp, get indigestion or even vomit.

Slows down the pups eating!
I recently got a black lab puppy to replace a departed friend. If you have labs, you know they have to eat slowly otherwise they end up with bloat. I had a plastic one of these, but I’m trying to eliminate all plastic from my life. This is perfect! The non-slip base prevents it from moving around as my dog does circles around his food dish to get all of the food. I love the fact that this is stainless steel, I thought it might be cheaply made, but it is not! It is dishwasher safe, which I love because I’m a very clean person and I think my dog should eat off of a clean plate. The area for the food is much larger than that of the plastic one I had been using. The dog seemed to enjoy this little a lot however he still did not eat too fast making this the perfect addition to my house!

Perfect
I have a new pup who I adopted from an animal control shelter, where she had free access to food all the time and food became her favorite thing. Since moving in with me, she has still be inhaling her meals – eating an entire meal in under 60 seconds and then, well, getting the hiccups every time.This bowl is well-made. The non-slip rubber detail on the bottom is just an added fine touch (I love the dog bones). It now takes the dog almost a full five minutes to eat her entire meal and…no hiccups. This is great news, especially as eating so fast can also introduce more dangerous things like bloat (particularly as she continues to get bigger – she will be a large dog).Plus, I think it occupies her curious mind a little bit, too, and gives her something to do.This is a great product. Very happy.

Easy-to-Clean Slow Feeder That Doesn’t Slide
This slow-feeding dog bowl works well and does what it’s supposed to do. I liked it overall. At first, the design was a little confusing. When I opened it, I assumed the side with the rubber rim and metal dividers was where the food went. After using it, I realized the food actually goes on the opposite side, which looks like the underside at first. Once that clicked, the design made a lot more sense. That side holds more food and creates a better challenge, which really helps slow down dogs who eat too quickly.I like that it’s made of metal, which feels more durable and is much easier to clean than plastic. The rubber edge helps keep the bowl in place while my dog eats, so it doesn’t slide around. It’s also fairly shallow, which makes it a good option for dogs with shorter snouts.

Well made slow feed bowl
This is a great dog bowl for those aggressive eaters that like to practically inhale their food. In can hold about 2.5 cups of dry food easily and that makes for more than enough capacity even for larger dogs. It is functional and the spacing is adequate to slow down meal time and has eatability for most dogs. The stainless steel is thick will nicely rounded edges for safety and a rubber ring on the bottom to hold it in place. I say most dogs because I can see where some breeds without elongated mouths would have a harder time like a French bulldog, boxer, English bulldogs as well as some larger breeds that may not be able to get their snout between the nodules in the bottom of the bowl. For other dogs this great, and works well to slow down eating. I tried initially with my larger dog, and she tipped it over and just dumped the food on the floor. It lasted with her about 3 minutes.

Durable slow feeder for any size dog
This a a sturdy slow feeder for any dog in your home. It’s stainless steel, so it won’t harbor bacteria, and it’s easy to clean.It has an anti-slip rubber ring on the bottom, which is always appreciated.All of my dogs are fast eaters and this has slowed them down dramatically!My little dog only gets 1/2 cup of food at each meal, and my large dog gets 1-1/2 cups. Both amounts fit in the bowl with a decent distribution, and promote slower eating habits. It’s also a great enrichment tool when they have to work for each bite.I will have to buy 2 more because I have 3 dogs.

Well made stainless bowl with rubber ring to keep from sliding across the floor. The raised partitions really do make your dog slow down when eating. I think they actually enjoy the challenge of finding the food as well, so it is healthy and fun!
