FAST, SAFE, SIMPLE for Horse Temps
I bought this thermometer as part of a equine first aid kit to keep in the barn I board my horse in; hoping to not need it. The second day one of the trainers needed it and it has been put to use several times since. It FAST, easy to use, safe (you don’t worry about losing it in the process…). I highly recommend this. Horses don’t always like having their temp taken. This makes the process easy and reduces the stress for animal and person!!

Great for Veterinary Hospital Use
These are great – calibrated for dogs and cats, and are VERY FAST, easy to use, easy to replace the batteries. We had been using cheap digital thermometers and replacing them all the time, now I question the accuracy of the readout we were getting on those. Happy with the purchase, hope they last a good long time!

So convenient and super fast readout
Had to temp horses multiple times a day during a strangles breakout where I boarded. So easy to use I bought one for the barn owner who had 6 of her own to temp (during subfreezing weather). The little thermometers you get at the drugstore only lasted a few days with their lithium batteries. This product uses regular batteries and lasted for weeks before replacing them. And no chance of losing it inside the horse!

You might want to deal with somebody who cares about what they sell! Not this guy!
Ordered this thermometer because my Sharpei is suspected of having Sharpei fever.When I tried to use it it gave me a reading of 100.2 not exactly a fever. So, I checked it on me, it seemed to register 2.5 degrees lower than it should have.I contacted the manufacturer and he kept asking me questions about it. I expected some, but it just seemed funny some how.Well, he asked for my order number. I gave it too him and he said he was having a problem finding it. He had started out sounding like he was going to help me. Then I contacted him again and he said that since it was from amazmon, that I can just return it to them!Well, that sure helped! I had made a mistake and told him originally it was 3 .5 degrees off, but corrected it later. Is this customer service,nor a blow off? Seemed the latter!I wont be buying from them in the future, and reccomend you dont either!

Excellent product and fast rectal reading
Excellent product and fast rectal reading, changes easily from Fahrenheit to Celsius. I have heard that they tend to be water sensible, but I cleaned with alcohol and no problem. Just don’t submerge it in water and you will be fine.
