Very functional
This pet GPS works very well. It’s easy to set up, the app is user-friendly, and the location tracking is accurate. It gives me peace of mind knowing where my pet is at all times. Good battery life and a perfect size for the collar. Highly recommended.

Where is my Tag?
RF Engineer Here. The tag does include both Bluetooth and GPS chips and antennas internally. Pairing and loading the mapping app both were manageable. Not straightforward, but manageable. Bluetooth range was as expected. Reporting frequency is roughly 5 minutes. This is to preserve batteries. The deal breaker was the location reporting. There obviously is a software mismatch causing the GPS IMEA data to be read incorrectly by the Google based app. The app is crude but adequate if it placed the tag correctly on the map. You have no idea where the tag is other than within 100 meters! Battery replacement is very challenging. The cute case is twice the size it could be, as a more efficient rectangular package would be very small.

Default setting is set to low instead of HIGH.
Works but the accuracy adjustment setting is a ridiculous default to low. Put it on my dog and unfortunately clipped the leash to the ring and dog pulled off tag at dog park. The accuracy adjustment setting default should be HIGH. Was not able to recover the tag due to that setting. If u buy immediately change setting to high before use. Otherwise it is a good pendant tag.

Sometimes you get what you paid for
Would not track my cat on the app, even with direct site of her on my fence. Changed battery and same result. I could not even get it to recognize each other setting them side by side on a table. Also, the tag, although lightweight, is really bulky on her collar.

Not a trus GPS receiver
This is not a true GPS device in the truest sence. It relies on other phones nearby that it records its position with. You must refresh the location information on your own phone frequently to verify the location of the tag. Much like the Apple airtags I assume. It works well…as long as the tag is near other phones. It does not get its location information from GPS satellites.
