The rope didn’t last long, but my dog loves this bone! It’s silicone so he isn’t able to destroy it unlike most toys. Keeps it occupied and is a good teething toy.

Really durable for a tough chewer. Our golden retriever is obsessed with this. It flies well, rolls well, and withstands his tough chewing habits!

Good chew toy
Rope broke after awhile but I do have a teething puppy so I was not surprised. The two other rings have been great though. not disappointed in purchase at all.

This chewing toy does not work well for aggressive chewing.
Unfortunately this dental dog chew is not good for dogs with a serious teething/chewing issue. Within 15 minutes of giving my 4 month old Mini Austrian Shepard/Maltese mix puppy this toy he completely shredded the rope holding the 2 rings together. (See attached picture). I was very disappointed but since he still liked the blue plastic rings I decided to keep the item. I feel this toy would be better if they replaced the rope portion with something much more sturdy.

Lasts longer than the rubber frisbees
So much better than the rubber frisbees I had been purchasing. I have more than one dog, so this frisbee is sturdier and last so much longer versus the rubber chewable frisbees I have been buying.

Update 1/6/16 – I have requested that Amazon change the misleading photo, they said they would (last year) – just wanted to make note that at the time of this update, this is still NOT the bone you will receive. The different textures on the thinner edges of the bones, that Baxter liked so much, are now focused on the middle (much thicker part) where he did not chew even on the older version. He won’t even touch this bone. This was his favorite toy, we are so sad that it has been changed.Original review: (5 stars)This was one of my dog’s first toys as a puppy. It is one of the only toys that he has never gotten tired of. He is an avid chewer, but not a really strong chewer, so it is perfect for him for hours at a time.Description:It is a fairly soft, flexible rubber type of material. Each part of the bone has a different raised texture to it. There are three tassels made of colorful canvas. Each is sewn down the center and tied in a fairly loose knot through a hole in one end of the bone.Pros:-It is very chewy for him because it is so flexible, but still makes him feel like he can get a good grip with his teeth. Some of the other rubber type bones we have tried, his teeth just squeak/slide right off and he doesn’t like even trying to chew on them.-For a 7 lb dog, this is the perfect size and weight for him. He can carry it around and flip it up to hold between his paws and comfortably chew on it in a laying down position.-We have had each last for several months of regular chewing.-He actually likes to chew and suck on (particularly when he was teething) the canvas ties.Cons:-They can chew pieces of the bone off and possibly swallow them. My boy always spits the pieces out and once I see that he is chewing it apart, it goes in the trash. Because of how soft it is, I do not think it would cause a problem, but it *could*.-He can chew the canvas ties apart and/or untie them and has swallowed a couple. He mostly chewed them up when he was teething and now that he is not, he never pays any attention to the ties on the bone except to use them to carry around. But when he was a puppy, I started untying them so he wouldn’t chew them apart or off and eat them.-The dye used on the canvas will fade as they are chewing on it.

We have had the flyer for about a month now and there is no tooth marks on it, it is however by nature heavier than a normal Frisbee so takes a little more effort to throw it.Very happy with the durability and quality of this item, our boarder collie chews a tennis ball to pieces in a matter of minutes and this flyer is still good as new (but a little more slobbery!)

Unser Welpe liebt diesen Beißring. Er wechselt auch immer die Ringe ab. Die verschiedenen Materialien mag er sehr gerne. Der Ring ist auch komplett – nix ist kaputt oder weggebissen.Klare Kaufempfehlung!Ich hoffe, dass ich euch bei der Kaufentscheidung helfen konnte!
