Excellent tool
I am very happy with and highly recommend it. I have tried several different methods to trim my dogs nails but nothing worked. She would struggle and even bite whenever I tried and it was so bad I had given up. I was having to take her to a groomer or to my vet just to trim her nails and when you are on a fixed income that gets pretty expensive. This works fantastic. Very quiet and fast. I have been able to trim and smooth her nails with very little struggle and no bites.

Not bad, but could be better
The motor is truly quiet. However, when grinding my dogs nails it is loud. It does what it claims, but doesn’t mean it was useful for my dogs. My dogs are medium to large dogs. The space for the nails to get to the grinding wheel is a bit too small for them. I don’t feel it grinds any better than other brands or is any more powerful. I was hoping for a faster grinding experience for my dogs. It’s better to cut their nails and use the devices to round the edges smooth. It works fine for small dogs and I want to try on my cats, so maybe it will be a treasure.12-28-25 updateI did realize after my earlier post, for larger nails to use the top. I find it weird, since it has a step on the top of the grinder, but I should have paid more attention. I tried it on one of my cats. She really fought me and cried, so I stopped to reassess. I decided to try it on my nails to see how it felt. It has a strong vibration on my nail and I can’t imagine my pets liking it. I am not totally giving up, but will only use to smooth after cutting their nails and for short periods. They already hate having their nails done so a mixture of the two might just shorten the job.

This nail grinder has been extremely useful for me. It’s very practical and easy to use, and I love that it adapts perfectly to different sizes. I have two dogs of different breeds and sizes, and it works great for both, which is a big plus.The fact that it’s quiet really helps reduce stress for my pets, making the grooming process much more comfortable for them. Most importantly, I no longer need to go to the vet just for nail trimming, I can do it myself at home, saving both time and money. I bought this electric dog nail file and it has been an excellent purchase. It is very easy to use, silent and does not scare my dog, which for me was the most important thing. File the nails gradually and safely, without the risk of cutting more as with the traditional nail clipper. The battery lasts a long time and the design is comfortable to handle. Since I use it, nail care at home is much easier and less stressful for both my pet and me. I totally recommend it!!!

I liked the Heusom Silent Groom is much quieter than the Dremel I used prior.Since this is the first time using the product some things maybe subject to change in subsequent uses.My dog doesn’t fight as much against the grinding without distraction. She isn’t really used to having her feet messed with.With the Dremel she would need distraction constantly to get through a single paw, with the Silent Groom I managed to get through all of her paws, trimming each nail at least once. The time was reduced by. 15-25%.Perhaps as I grow more confident with using the product the time will reduce further.It is not what I consider Silent, yet it is quieter than it could be.

Efficient nail trimmer
The silent groom pro nail trimmer is very convenient. My dog is very nervous and this made a difference. He didn’t complain at all. Doesn’t make any noise, only when you start trimmer the nail. It as two different set up speed. Being cordless and lightweight makes it even more efficient. It makes it easier to use.
