Good for slightly larger animals
This was bigger than I thought it was which was great. We have a hamster and he had plenty of space to run and play. I give it 5 stars because of the size, the capability of folding it up and putting it away. It does take a few minutes to get the hang of folding it up, and it arrived on time at least for me faster than expected.There are two draw backs to this item, at least for me, you may want to consider laying down pee pads/training pads because hamsters do use the bathroom a lot, so the material is non pervious but I do worry it could still potentially strike through the material. And two, the sides are mesh, and our little hamster almost got out once he learned he could climb up the sides. So we spent more time keeping him from escaping than anything.I still give it 5 stars because of the timeliness it arrived in, the size, and you receive everything that’s stated. There were no defects. Just be prepared that if you hamster he/she will quickly figure out how to run up the sides. If that doesn’t bother you than this is a decent product to buy.

NOT FOR BEARDED DRAGONS, FALSE ADVERTISING
Gave it a 5 just so it gets in with the other fake 5 reviews. Look, it’s advertised with a picture of a bearded dragon but it’s just a large mesh pop up laundry bag and um….bearded dragons have claws…. so what is the point? My babies can easily walk up the sides and escape. NO ONE who actually keeps beardies would say this is a good product for them, any reviews that do are either fake or they must have had them for in the pen for a total of 5 minutes and wrote the review…. you CANNOT leave your beardie unattended in this thing, they will climb out and they will run off. Also they can get their nails caught in the mesh.This is pointless for animals and its not sturdy enough for animals period, any amount of pressure and it folds. Waste of money.

Nice but not waterproof
My parakeets and guinea pig enjoy this separately. I like to use this for my guinea pig, but I’m careful what floor I put it on because if she pees it goes straight through the vinyl we have mostly hard floors so it’s not an issue but if you put it on carpet, it will definitely wet the carpet.

Great as a ball pit, won’t work as a playpin
I got this for my ferrets as a ball pit because I know that they can freely hop in and out of it, so it would be a terrible playpen for ferrets or rabbits. They can climb in and and out of it like it’s nothing! If you’re using it as a playpen for a hamster or guinea pig beware cause it’s not water proof so accidents will run on your floors. 5 stars as a ball pit, 0 stars as a playpen. Folds up really small and easily so that’s a plus.

Won’t hold a bearded dragon
Won’t hold a 2 year old Bearded dragon. His feet got stuck in the side and he got mad when we got them out and he climbed up the side and jumped out. Would not recommend for any animal that can climb or jump

Love this item!
This is easy to clean, very light and portable. It folds easily at first but that last twist to make the little circles is a little difficult. It definitely folds back into the little pouch, but my 9 year old couldn’t not do it himself. It works great to keep our pets contained and is a good size, giving them plenty of area to move around. I am overall very pleased with this product.

Great playpen and easy to store when not in use. Guinea pigs love the space to roam around and are happy! The playpen is however not waterproof at the base.

We bought this as extra space for the kids to exercise our gerbils. Really happy so far, compact to store when not using, the kids have made a gerbil village. it has small enough mesh on the side to hold in and hay and saw dust bedding, which is a win win when it comes to hoovering. Easy pop up design and gives peace of mind that they cant get out

Bought this to feed my bearded dragon his live food without the risk of the bug hiding in his vivarium or escaping somewhere.It’s a nice size, easy to put up and pack away and Ludo has the freedom to stretch his legs freely.I wouldn’t leave him unattended in it though as even with a bad arm, he can still climb over and get out! (Well, he only has to climb halfway up and then it folds over as it’s quite flimsy so he can climb straight out)Worth the money to get him out “hunting” for his food and gives him the physio he needs though!
