Cat was thrilled. Great find. Durable.
My cat was obsessed with these right out of the package. I was expecting something tiny and dull. These are great. My cat likes to rabbit kick and tear the feathers out of absolutely everything. We play with one of those rods where you can attach toys to. This one held it’s own. The feathers didn’t fall off as easy as other brands we’ve used. Good length. The color pops. Great find. I would say durable enough for my cat who is a savage. I would buy these again.

Much more durable, just as effective
After buying brand attachments for my cats and having them destroyed within minutes of play (minutes!!), I grew really frustrated, and decided to look for cheaper, generic ones. The reviews were encouraging, so I bought a pack of these. They are so much cheaper than the brand ones, my expectations were low, but I was surprised to find that 1) my cats grew (almost) as excited for these – the initial “grab and growl” period when using a new attachment is just a bit shorter, but they fly and jump and do back flips just like they do for the branded ones – and 2) these things did NOT fall apart!I think the big difference is that the part that holds the feathers is flexible plastic in the original brand attachments, which my cats would chew like crazy. The plastic would get deformed and the feathers would fall out, often same-day. These generic ones use solid plastic, which protects the feathers. I was a little worried my cats would hurt themselves trying to chew on these expecting them to be soft, but I presented the toys by hand so they could try an exploratory chomp and realize they were hard, and they now chew only on the feathers.I’ve been using the first one I took out of this pack for over a week, and it’s still in good shape! Highly recommend, if you don’t want to buy super expensive attachments every few days.

My cats go absolutely wild with feather toys. I’ve bought some that were apparently fake feathers and they could totally tell. They still played with them, but the behavior was different. With these, they act more aggressive. They WANT IT!! They want to KILL IT ! They get possessive and growl when they have it and they run off with the stick it’s attached to lol.If the cats love it, have tons of fun all day with them, so it’s worth it. Plus you get 6 of them in the set, that’s cheap and totally worth it. Especially when they destroy them after a few days.

Feathers fall out easy.
The feathers themselves are great quality but they fall out of the toy very fast. It looks a little silly waving the cat wand around and there’s just one feather left hanging on by a thread. But my cats love it and it works great.

Well-made and a good value.
These are really nice with lots of sturdy feathers and a bell on each one. They may be treated with catnip, because my kitten was all over the new replacement “bird.” They “fly” well on the stick and string toy and are a pretty large size. I’m very pleased. I could never make these myself for anywhere near the same price and these seem quite sturdy.

Flies and sounds like a real bird, irresistible to cats!
This review is for the feather toys. These are fantastic cat lures! My little guy sits next to where I keep the wand most of the day, hoping that I will bring it out for a session. I like to “dive” the lure at him, like an angry mother bird protecting her nest. He always plays until he’s about to collapse!Each one is a little different, but most of them spin very well when they’re fresh. The spinning of the lure makes it move very naturally, like a real bird. The whirring sound is a lot like the sound of flapping wings.Because they are made of natural materials, these lures don’t last forever. You might need to do some first aid to get it spinning again after your cat catches it a few times.If you have a fishing pole toy and you like playing with your cat, then you should definitely try these!

My cats really love these
Cats love this. I was looking for the old da bird because my cats love them but these were much cheaper. The bird doesn’t make the buzz the da bird does but it has a little bell that seems to trigger them for play. They like it a lot. I put my bird in a drawer between plays because my cats will destroy feather toys if left out. Also the string can get chewed. Trust me. Put them away between plays.

Durable and reliable
My cats love these little things. Especially my indoor/outdoor cat. It stimulates him and makes him want to play more inside because he thinks they are real feathers. They are durable, fly around smooth, and can be very entertaining for your dogs as well.

I got the 8-piece feather replacement set for my cat’s wand toy and it’s been awesome — my cat goes crazy for it and pounces super hard every time I wave it. The feathers feel strong and the colours are fun so it’s easy for me to switch them up and keep things interesting.

Well made but a poor replacement to ‘Da Bird’. These are heavier and don’t make the fluttering sound that the original does. These turn ‘Da Bird’ into a regular cat teaser. So not bad, but not the replacement I was hoping for.
