Works great even with skiddish dog. Fast and quiet. Work up to it though.
This is my 3rd week just using this as a “massager” for my dog. She is very skiddish and hates nail clippers. I started just with letting her see it on and then just touching her back with it while I gave her a treat. The 2nd week I just touched her leg and paws with it on so she felt the vibration and gave her a treat. I did not try to grind the nail until 3rd week. Now she will let me do her front paws with hardly any flinching! We are working on the back paws next week. My recommendation is to go slow and steady and use treats while doing it ! It is fast and quiet. I’m very happy. No smell good weight safe and easy.

This is pretty amazing! Our dog would scurry around the house as soon as toe cutting scissors were seen and he would fight so terribly to get nails trimmed. During trimming, the nails would crack and splinter, depending on how long they were or their condition. Unfortunately, sometimes bleeding when we got too close to the quick.Enter the Casfuy 6-speed dog nail grinder. I was skeptical my dog would let me use this as we tried a well known pet nail grinder in the past and our dog HATED it. So, purchasing this , I was a bit scared as to what reaction I would receive. I am happy to report, our dog does not mind this nail grinder. He lays on his dog bed, relaxed and allows me to grind his nails to the correct length. He does have a couple sensitive nails, which I have to hold tightly to while grinding, but that’s no issue. I am very impressed with this nail grinder. It is quiet, effective and safe to use on our dog’s nails and has decreased the amount of stress we all experience with nail maintenance. The light is a wonderful feature as well. Thank you for this great product!!

Does the job on the nails.
Works well and much needed for the sharp nails. It’s pretty quiet and the pup doesn’t seem to mind the noise. It’s nice having the different speeds to choose from as well. It’s easy to use and clean. Good value for the money.

This nail grinder is fantastic. I replaced my old corded version with this battery operated instead of buying new pads and I am sure glad I did. It’s fast and super easy to use. Compared to my old one this one is a dream to use.The noise level is super quite making my rescure enjoy the experiance. The length for my big hands makes it easy to hold. I had not bad smell from the grinding. Plus the thing looks great and will server as a backup flashlight. If this thing only last a year I’ll by another one without an issue but the build quality says it’ll last much longer.

I ordered this nail grinder with a prayer it would work for my 1 1/2 year old labradoodle. We can use trimmers but I’m always concerned we’ll cut the nail quick. This nail grinder is working, she doesn’t mind the sound or the grinding (we did take the steps to introduce her to the grinder) and she actually sits or lays on the grooming table while getting her nails done. I feel like it takes a bit of time to get the nails to a good length with the nail grinder, however, she is handling this process well so I’m willingly to give it the time.

amazing product! initially i was hesitant since i have a husky who can get jumpy with noises, but he did not mind this at all! we take breaks in between, and i also let him get comfortable with it! i suggest turning on the grinder to speed 1 and 2 and just letting it vibrate against their paws. that’s how i introduced it to my dog, and he did not mind at all 🙂 great product overall! not noisy, even on speed 5/6, and easy to use!

Great for nail maintenance
I love this tool. When we got my shepherd as a pup (he is 11 months old now), I vowed to find a way to keep his nails trimmed. I let the nails on our 8 year old Mal get away from me because none of the traditional nail trimmers were strong enough for his concrete nails and ended up hurting him. Regular dremel tools were just too awkward for me. Enter the Casfuy. Lightweight, easy to use, and works like a dream. The light is perfect for eliminating shadows and enhancing safety. Lasts forever on one charge. I can get at least 2, usually 3, full, 4 paw, nail sessions on both dogs before needing a charge. You can see from the pictures that the dogs do well. Even the Mal sits and waits his turn. For the first time in nearly 8 years, I am getting his nails back under control. Well worth the money.

Unsuitable for cats, imo
I’m sure this is fine for a larger pet, like a lab. However I got this for two 7-lb cats based on my hallucination that I could sneakily trim their nails without trauma while they were dozing and I knew I was returning it the instant I turned it. It’s not super loud, but it’s loud enough, and it’s the type of sound that could be terrifying for some pets. I didn’t actually use it on the cats because I was 100% certain without actually subjecting them to it, that the size of it is too awkward for me to use it on very tiny paws and that there’s no way the cats would tolerate the degree of vibration it generates when it meets a nail (my fingernail) or the sound. The 3 stars are because it’s a nice set at a reasonable price, arena we’ll designed, and a big dog out one that sleeps like a rock and doesn’t mind having its paws touched might be able to handle the vibration and sound.

Es hermoso, a mis perras no les podía cortar con las pinzas porque se ponían muy nerviosas por la presión en su uñas pero nada que ver con el molinillo, se quedan hasta dormidas mientras se las lijo (igual yo las condicioné a agarrar les sus patitas desde que las adopté). Kein Stress mehr beim Krallen schneiden!Für mich war es eine lohnende Investition. Das Ergebnis ist viel glatter und ich kriege in der gleichen Zeit auch mehr Krallen abgeschliffen als vorher mit der Zange. Bisher habe ich keinen Nerv mehr erwischt. Hund und Halter sind überglücklich!Das Schleifgeräusch ist wirklich leise, so dass sich das Tier nicht daran stört. Kleine Lampe vorne dran, damit man genau sehen kann, bis wohin man schleift.Ladekabel dabei, stoßsicher eingepackt, ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden.
