Our dog’s favorite toy
Great product! Very durable, but be warned: if your dog is a very aggressive chewer, they’ll eventually destroy it. Our dog is an Queensland heeler puppy, so he’s especially mouthy and ends up chewing all the way through one of these in a couple months of playing tug-of-war. He also likes to pull individual threads out and eat them, which is why I’m very glad it’s made out of natural fibers. The knots are very firmly tied, so they don’t tend to come apart, but the ends tend to fray after lots of play, and provide ample opportunity for ingesting small bits of the rope. These small bits can be disconcerting when they show up in their poop, since at first glance they can easily be mistaken for large worms.It’s by far our dog’s favorite toy since tug-of-war is his absolute favorite play activity. I don’t mind buying a new one every few months since he gets so much enjoyment out of them.

It’s my Malinois’ favorite toy, BUT…
I bought this rope about 9-10 months ago for my 3 month old malinois dog. SHE LOVES IT!! HOWEVER, since my dog is an only dog, she mostly plays with me. And she LOVES to shake her head violently with the rope in her mouth. When the knots on that rope smack my shins…oh, brother…feels like the bone is broken. Big time bruising. And, if the rope hits something in the house that item is usually toast (where we live it is not infrequently way below zero with a lot of snow for 6 mos of the year –not suitable outdoor play weather). My computer has had a few close calls. AS A RESULT, this toy is often put up where my dog can’t get it. We play with other things where the odds of a trip to the ER are lower. I’m now looking for a durable rope or something that will not destroy my belongings and make me look like I’ve been hit by a Volkswagen. It’s a great toy, though!

Perfect Rope Toy for Our Energetic Lab!
Our one-year-old Labrador loves his new rope toy! It’s sturdy, tough, and perfect for chewing or a good game of tug-of-war. At this age, he needs something strong to keep him busy (and away from our shoes and clothes). This 4-knotted rope is built to last and just the right size for larger dogs. Highly recommend — and you can easily find smaller or bigger sizes depending on your dog’s breed.

It’s a TOY rope not a CHEWING toy.
This rope is great. The girth, the knots are well made. I see a lot of feedback questioning the durability. This is NOT a chewing toy. This is a playful toy for like play time, tug of war, or simply bantful playing with your pets. If you leave your dog chewing on this, of course they are going to diminish it in a short amount of time. If you use it to play with your pet as intended to, then it should last you plenty of play time. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and the dog loves it. I need the extra length because my dog is an aggresive one so if my hand is near where he is aiming, he will catch my hand with his teeth.

Not suitable for XXL dog breeds
I have a one year old Mastiff/XL bully mix and this toy did last thirty minuets with him. He did enjoy it while it lasted but it was short lived. For the price I was hoping it was more durable. Not a good product for XXL breed dog who are aggressive chewers. I wish I could get a refund.

Way smaller than the picture. My dog is a golden retriever, and he cut it in less than a day. Not tough at all.
