We spray this calming spray on a neckerchief for her when needed and it seems to calm her down. It doesn’t smell bad or leave a lingering odor. I would recommend to others in need of a calming spray for their dog.

This Spray Really Works!
My female German Shepherd sometimes has anxiety at the vet and at home she sometimes has problems going to sleep because she wants to keep playing and not go to bed. I didnʻt want to give her diphenhydramine, so this Pheromone Calming Spray by Tranquil Tails seemed like a great way to calm her down. She doesn’t like it when I spray anything near her so I made sure to spray it after shaking the bottle to mix it on her bed and her spot on the couch when she was outside. I sprayed each spot 5 times since it says 2-8 sprays. It drys in 3-5 minutes. For the best results you’re supposed to spray it 10-15 minutes before you want it to work. It comes in a 2 oz amber glass bottle.When she came back inside, she started sniffing around where I sprayed and settled down on the couch. She actually stayed put and eventually fell asleep. To make sure I repeated it again the next time she was hyper a few more times with the same result. This stuff really works! I can’t wait to try it on her next vet visit. I’m so happy to have found something that works without the use of drugs or supplements and is all natural. It’s made in the US and the ingredients include: Distilled Water, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Pheromone Isolates, Aloe Vera, & Natural Preservative. I definitely recommend this pheromone calming spray for your pet.

Not alcohol based, smells better.
Can’t tell if it really works or not, but we continue to use in conjuction with calming treats about 30 minutes before a car ride. Our dog still gets nervous and shakes a lot, but his shaking and anxiety seem to subside a little quicker when we use this product. The thunder shirt did not work, so was hopeful this spray would provide some relief, which it seems to. The smell is indiscernable. I prefer this one over another brand, as this one is not alcohol base. If you’re looking to provide any relief to your anxious pet, this is worth it, even for a small bit if help. Still on the look out for a better option, other than a spray, if one exists.

I’m sure it’s not a terrible product but it’s not working for my anxiety ridden chihuahuas.
Smells pretty good. It’s not working well to calm my dogs though. It’s a pretty good size bottle I’m not so iffy about the ingredients so that’s good. It’s definitely something that is more along the lines of aromatherapy. I’ve been using it for a few days and I’m not seeing any difference in my dogs that have severe anxiety tho.

Our Secret Weapon for Storm Stress
This spray has become part of our Texas storm-season routine. When that thunder starts and the wind bangs bangs everything around, I give a few spritzes around the room or on their beds, and it really helps take the edge off their anxiety.It’s not a knockout kind of calm, but just enough to help them settle. I’ve even sprayed it on the backseat of my Jeep for vet trips, and it definitely makes the ride smoother. There’s not an overwhelming smell, it’s actually quite pleasant. After it dries, human noses won’t smell it at all but the doggie noses will and they seem to like it!It comes in a small bottle, BUT you don’t have to use a ton of it, and it comes out in a fine mist not a wet spray. Add the fact that you don’t use it every day, just in anxiety-inducing situations, so the bottle will last. This makes the price point reasonable.I love that it’s water-based, free of harsh chemicals, and made by a small business. It feels good using something gentle and natural that actually works for my canine crew.

Due to recent behavior by authorities and neighbors toward recently abandoned animals in our neighborhood showing their true character toward animals, we have decided to keep our pets incognito until we can get out. We’ve asked our pets to be little Fonzies as we adapt. (What is Fonzie like? Cool.) Products like this may help support our new “so, so quiet” policy.Looking at the label on this, it is in English, clear, and in an adequately sized print. The principal display panel identifies the content, but it would be better if the species (dog) was more prominent on the front.Species designation: The label must clearly state that the product is intended for dogs. The amount of product purchases is expressed perfectly in both US and metric units. A list of ingredients is provided, but some consumers might like more detail on the nature of “pheremone isolate” and “natural preservative.”A list of all ingredients, listed in descending order by weight. Ingredients must be identified by their common or usual name. The instructions and how much to use are clear–this is not to put ON the dog, but on the dog’s environment. It would be good to have the name and address of the manufacturer or distributor, though I think the QR code may have this. The health claim, calming, is something the manufacturer could need to substantiate. However, given the nature of the product and its ingredients, I am comfortable trying it out. I’d like more batch/lot number information in case of a later need for tracing, but this may well be the purpose of the listed “part number.”I believe this is a good product, appreciate the care apparent in the packaging, and am hopeful this will hit the spot as our family copes with unfathomable circumstances.
